Given his track record, I have plenty of confidence in Sark and the portal. I also believe that Kenny Baker is making a name for himself from a development standpoint. My assumption is that we get three from the portal, including a couple of studs. Early indications are that the available DT transfer class might be better this year than last.

Listening to Stanford Steve earlier this week he was impressed with your quality depth on both sides of the line and with Baker specifically. I profess to being a hater so I'm less than objective. I predicted a few years ago that the UT OL/DL would not develop and I was wrong. So, congrats!

Texas got 7 OL recruits in one class, who are now either juniors or RS sophomores. All 7 are still on the team. This was the class that turned everything around.

No, their "agents" are Aggies; firm started at College Station to serve Aggie players in the portal. I was led to believe that the original funding was provided by Tony Buzbee, but don't know that to be fact.

We have heard for three years that Bledsoe was an unusual talent, yet he almost never saw the field. Perhaps he will excel somewhere else, but I wonder. Then again, we had also heard the same about Collins, and he finally broke out this year.

Late last year (2023 year), Bledsoe showed up very well late in the season. He'd go right by OL. They had a difficult time blocking him. Wish he'd stick around, but he has the talent to make a splash somewhere (hopefully nobody we play). Maybe he can go make all-conference at TCU, Tech, or Okla State.
