Can he play now? Enrolled in school. Both IT and OTF reporting DT Justus Terry enrolled and is practicing with the team
If he plays this season, he loses a redshirt year. Can he play now? Enrolled in school.
That would be novel, but I don't know if is legal/possible.Can he play now? Enrolled in school.
Wouldn't he still retain the redshirt as long as he doesn't play more than four games? If he plays this season, he loses a redshirt year.
Yes, but the RS year is lost for the 2025 season. He is taking his redshirt year for 2024 season, not 2025 season. There is no free lunch.Wouldn't he still retain the redshirt as long as he doesn't play more than four games?
No, he loses the ability to redshirt in future years.Wouldn't he still retain the redshirt as long as he doesn't play more than four games?
I just wish Baker was a better recruiter.
Agreed; how did we ever miss out on Jimbo and/or Elko?I just wish Baker was a better recruiter.
Well, ohio st is steamrolling everyone, we maybe next. They are firing on all cylindars includind defense.Wonder what the Oregon recruits are thinking tonight. Phil Knight overpaying players to watch his team get blown out in the CFP quarterfinals.
I don’t like Ohio state but I’m kind of glad to see Oregon get steamrolled like that. They’ve tried opening the checkbook to buy a championship and it’s not gonna happen.Wonder what the Oregon recruits are thinking tonight. I inferred (from the ether?) that Oregon, tOSU, UGA, Ole Miss, and Mizzou were the big players. Looks like I was a little wrong. I hate when people try to buy championships.I don’t like Ohio state but I’m kind of glad to see Oregon get steamrolled like that. You are confounding total NIL with football NIL. Texas does spend a lot of NIL on non-football sports. However, the topic here is football NIL. I am not suggesting that Texas isn’t top 5 in football NIL, but it’s clear others (Ole Miss, Oregon, etc.) are trying to buy themselves into the top 5 that don’t have the pedigree. In short, we all like to hate the nouveau rich.I inferred (from the ether?) that Oregon, tOSU, UGA, Ole Miss, and Mizzou were the big players. Looks like I was a little wrong. OK, Bubba, we are only a day and a half into 2025, and you have already captured the "Post of the Year". I no longer have much pull in Cleveland County, but I'll see if a few people I do know could get you enrolled in a graduate course of "NCAA Cheating", perhaps coupled with a second course on "Kidnapping & Hiding Recruits".I inferred (from the ether?) that Oregon, tOSU, UGA, Ole Miss, and Mizzou were the big players. For those unfamiliar with my posts, please know that I think Sark is an amazing coach and he's the right guy at the right time for UT as his skills combined with the UT NIL advantages seem to be hitting the sweet spot. And, I am only mildly bitter that we are in our Tom Herman years during this time.
100% agree. Mizzou and Ole Miss was where my head was at.You are confounding total NIL with football NIL. Texas does spend a lot of NIL on non-football sports. I understand you (I think).100% agree. Mizzou and Ole Miss was where my head was at.
New money...am I right?
Committed to the Longhorns...Any word on Travis Shaw?
Any word on Travis Shaw?
Conflicting reports then . NC insiders believe he hasnt developed as anticipated. Maybe another T. Sweat.Earlier today I read an article where it stated that if Shaw were to enter the draft, he'd be a 1st or early 2nd round pick.
yeah I saw some of those too. Hopefully, he finds new motivation here and uses that size to shine.Conflicting reports then . NC insiders believe he hasnt developed as anticipated. Maybe another T. Sweat.
If so maybe new surroundings, new coaches and a chance to play for a potential top 5 team next year will ignite his motor for his Sr year.
Tx did offer him out of high school.
