Well, it was brillant coaching as Bochy knew the minute he argued he would be ejected and he knew Heim was HOT, and would argue and get thrown out too. No sense in losing your starting catcher in a close game when you still needed him in there....

Friday night vs Yankees:

Dunning pitched well for 7 innongs. Tight game 2-2 going into the10th. Man on second - Garcia DELIVERS a 2 run blast and the Rangers win!!!

4-2 to take the first game!

47-28 on the season...23-15 on the road baby!!!

I'm thinking two W's in the Bronx for this series. A sweep would be absolutely outstanding! As long as the Rangers can continue to win each series...
 
This season definitely has a 2010 - 2011 kind of feel but I have ten plus years of Ranger choking PTSD so I keep waiting for them to drive off a cliff and kick me in the nuts.

Sunday vs Bronx Bombers:

Rangers 3-2 going to T8.... Eovaldi pitched pretty well but gave up a couple of runs.

Sborz in the 7th - good pitching got 3 outs.

Gray has lost two 1-0 games in last 3 weeks. Rangers go 3-3 on road trip. 8 game homestand with Detroit and the Houston on tap.

The Rangers lose and Astros somehow win so the gap is back down to 5.5 games. The Rangers need to win at least 3 games against Detroit this week before entertaining the Astros over the 4th weekend.

It is going to be a race with Houston to see who will be in first place at the Break. If you have a bet on the Rangers, I hope you have a good hedge in place.
