2023 Recruiting - Football

It bet he denies it. How can they leverage four schools against each other for the best NLI deal if the rumor get's out its down to two schools?
Call me naive but I don’t see the Manning recruitment as a heavy NIL play. That family has tons of money.

I believe that Arch will go to the school that a) offers the best opportunity to a win a championship and more importantly b) that prepares him for the next level.

IMO the O-Line haul we just signed plus Sark’s reputation for developing QBs will make the difference in the end.

You beat me to it. Moneys not going to be much if any factor

I believe money is always a factor because the family money isn't his. Of course he wants to win a championship but let's be real, if he wanted a guaranteed championship he would have already committed to Bama and we wouldn't even be in consideration coming off a 5-7 season and a horrific decade. As far a preparing him for the next level I'm pretty sure he has all sorts of private coaches and experience galore in the family helping him along with that. He will be in the NFL regardless of where he goes assuming he doesn't have a career ending injury.

I think its A) where he thinks he will feel and fit in the best and B) a great money deal with A being the biggest factor.

Recruitung is a little dead right now. An update on Ashton Porter. He was set to commit but a certain sec school got in his ear so this one may take a bit of work.

On off season workouts..

From TFB
"Off season work outs seem like night and day from last year this time. Team knows what is expected and what to do. Workouts are way more efficient as a whole.

– Coaching staff is back on campus coming off the recruiting trail. Now able to work with the team.

– The OL players are working out with a sense of urgency this time, and rightfully so. They know the newcomers could come in and take their jobs. Cole Hutson is the only early enrollee on the OL and is gaining some attention already.

– Jaray Bledsoe is benefitting from the early enrollment. He would not be in football shape for the season next year if he didn't go through UT's spring. Ditto for Aaron Bryant.

– Morice Blackwell is now seeing some action at Safety. He's been impressive.

– Finkley has turned all kinds of heads. They really expect him to see action early next year. They say he is physically a grown *** man.

– there was some rumblings about Bo Davis getting a job offer after NSD. Obviously, that didn't happen."

Georgia offered another '23 QB this week.

IT saying he's a "back-up" plan for Texas in this class, but the reality is his recruitment would be too far along by the time he was offered for Sark to have a shot.

They believe Texas remains in the driver's seat for QB Arch Manning.
