El Torito...seems we used to eat at restaurant by that name whe we would come into Austin for some games....! Is it still there?
 
Sounds like Deuce Vaughan looking at going pro, we should grab him for next year, obviously our RB room not as strong as Sark let on and we should have a ton of NIL money available with players leaving. We could pay him more than a late draft pick.

In fact, I'd like us to target every Big 12's best players. You give us BS calls and no calls on the field, we take all your star players. UT Flex!

Georgia has the advantage of a qb that is not a freshman and thus can adjust and make plays that Quinn cannot. Lets hope the qb position and the ol is much improved next year. On the OL, Banks is a stud NFL lineman today.
 
Cnb said it best. Our ol got outplayed by wash. Of the running plays we had we only avg 3 yards a carry. Pass plays were designed to throw quick passes and get the ball out of the qb hand quickly. Wash used tcu def strategy to run lb thru gaps to stop run and pressure qb. Bijan only had 30 yards on 12 carry’s against tcu. We have a young ol and they just got beat. They will get much better and yes we do have rb talent and more coming in.
 
S&C needs to step up and build up these young talented OGs. Understand, they've been going against grown men 2-4 years older than them and with that much more time in a college weight training program. Gotta build them up and make them stronger than the competition. The raw talent is there.

I’m panicked about the line and ardently wish for two portal giants..one for each side of the line. The fast giants are so rare

I'm all for bringing in 1-2 OGs through the portal for immediate help, until these young'uns can get stronger and more experienced.

As for our C, Jake Majors, I think he's a lot better than our Guards, for now at least. He had to start last year as a true Freshman. He's not all-conference or anything like that, but he might be by the time he gets out of college. He also needs that time in a college weight training program. But Majors has a good first step and quickly gets into the opponent, and he can often match a man across from him who is physically stronger based on his quick "fire out". That being said, another year of strength training would help.

Get another Upperclassman G or two in the portal...

Yep. On a related note, the loss of Junior Angilau was worth a game this year, maaaaayyyyyyybee 2 games. Remember, our losses were by small margins.
