Robinson had the benefit of a good offensive line. people just say that he did not have the benefit of an at least an average line to try to make a point. how do you think Bijan ran for 1500 yards? Coach Flood did a good job of coaching them up. Saying that Bijan did not have a good line is an untruth. I believe the oline will be even better next year and in the coming years.

of course no rb is superman when the defense gets in the backfield.

He had good OTd but the iOL was sub par. The IOL has talent but young. A majority of the pass and run penetration came from the inside. I disagree with your analysis.

Robinson's first year , mensa's last, the OL was between so so and average at best. The OL last year was putrid. Plain and simple.
Although the line this year was much improved, there were too many times Bijan had to avoid a DL behind the line of scrimmage.
Our rb next year will have the benefit of an even more improved line.
 
well when the defense knows it is going to be a run it is hard for any line to prevent penetration. So there were plenty of times we lost yards due to penetration and the play calling is half the reason.
So it's not just the oline though they get the blame.
 
Too many times we ran into the teeth of a defense that sold out completely to stop the conventional running game. Short passes and a running qb with great decision making skills is the response we needed. When you are consistently outnumbered at the point of attack it's a scheme thing, not a crappy OL.

I must say this is an outstanding group of EE's. Best ever. I doubt it ever gets topped.
every one of them has a legitimate chance to make an impact (except for the skinny, light Hawaiian guy)

Obviously Arch is an exceptional talent in a very good family. Its nice to see recruiting that isnt about "look at me look at me". I dont believe college football will ever be the same because of NIL. This was a huge step down in quality of football and character of those involved. Its just the pony express from the 1980's but its legal now to buy players. You have to have some control over this. Look at the meltdown from atm's supposed once in a lifetime class from 2022. How many of those guys played and now how many have hit the portal? Everyone has to adjust but back to Arch, very classy in his approach this entire time. Best of luck.
