Question - when the head coach leaves his school, isn't there an opportunity for the players at that school to have an additional shot at the portal? If so, it will be very interesting to see what happens at Alabama.

It appears that Bond, Isaiah Bond may be headed to Texas via the portal (Eric Nahlin at IT put in and RPM of 80%). FYI, he's Bama's best receiver who caught a long TD and that crazy 2 point conversion against us this year.

He would be a good get. He's a different type of receiver than Mitchell, but all 3 of Bond, Cook, Golden can stretch the field an open up things underneath. Hard to cover 3 really good WR's on every play.

Sark must be a sooth sayer with the recruiting success he has. Mack was super impressive in locking down Texas but Sark has wide reaching appeal. We will never know how much the move to the SEC has on this but either way, he is getting it done.

They want Hawkins to sit for at least a year, so Thompson makes sense as an emergency backup.

Possibly a Bo departure issue. However, I have every reason to believe that long-term, we might be in a stronger position with his replacement.

It was. Ironically as good as Bo is and the guys he has produced, he isnt considered a great recruiter. Hard to imagine that but thats his rep.

Correct. This one didnt make sense to me as I thought Casey was an excellent qb. Ole Miss didnt make sense either and he didnt play much so maybe thats just the plan. He was a good longhorn so wish him luck regardless.
