2022 House and Senate election

How else could you make sure your ballot was postmarked Nov 8?
Stick it in the mailbox that day? Seriously, why else do these people vote from home? So they can stay home. It's cute that y'all think the average person would have the wherewithal to realize a postmark of Tuesday would even be necessary.

The point about that was there can't be That many ballots left to count. If someone waited until Nov 8 they would likely vote in person.
It is a way for Demx to cheat and come up with however many votes they need.

Even more shocking is thinking getting RINOs in power will actually change anything. They are all weak and spineless and prefer to be admired by the media instead of doing their jobs and making life miserable for Dems.

The Rinos would have blocked legislation that funneled trillions into a recovering economy. Democrat house brought us high inflation rates, hurt the middle class

So yeah,, it's important

I hope there are Repub poll watchers for the msil in ballot counting.
mc's point about why go to the trouble of taking to post office for Nov 8 stsmp?
How many would do that instead of in person voting?
All it takes is finding one unethical postal worker or office with a postage meter that they are willing to hold the date on (sort of like the USPS does at some locations on Tax Day when they accept returns up until midnight) and you can channel a lot of illegitimate ballots with a qualifying postmark...

Yes the point is that Election Day is another day for ballot harvesting where the harvested ballots are specially delivered to the post office on Tuesday after midnight. Hopefully the number is small.

The information from Nevada (from yesterday and this morning) makes no sense based on media reporting. Note the default position is to assume the media is dumb as ****. I think it applies here. For one, articles say approximately 12k mail ballots arrived Wednesday in Clark county. If so, the amount coming in Thursday should by 1-2k in my estimation. They also mention 60k ballots not counted from Election Day drop boxes. I think these have been counted but not sure. Why would officials be sitting on them? The media reporting on this is stupendously bad.

Really curious why votes are not being posted for AZ and NV. Supposedly there are hundreds of thousands of ballots out there ready to be counted. WTF?

Okay, I read that Nevada has mail-in ballot drop boxes that are open through Election Day. So, Clark county needs to do voter verification on those dropped ballots from Tuesday before counting them. Seems stupid to keep the drop boxes after the end of early voting. Finally note these are Election Day votes. Even though they are mail-in ballots that favor dems, the fact they were dropped on Election Day suggests more GOP voters in the mix.

What conclusions can you draw from what Mitch is doing? I know what I'm thinking. All of these races were close.

hang on. if your $ contribution is a measure of your commitment to America then what's this....

"In all, Make America Great Again Inc. has spent $2.4 million in the Ohio Senate race, $1.8 million in the Arizona Senate race, roughly $1.6 million each in the Georgia and Pennsylvania Senate races, and $1.3 million in the Nevada Senate race." A grand total of $8.7MM from Trump. and these were his candidate picks. Where's the commitment from Trump?

In Sep 2022 Trumps PAC had $92MM and the Senate re-elect committee had $16MM. so who's being chintzy with the dough? Seems like DJT could have been much more of a team player, ...but then again, we know that isn't his strong suit.

Every republican voted No on those (Biden infrastructure) bills that passed in this term. Every single one. If we had majority those bills would not have gone through. Simple as that.
Yep, they do things like that when they know it makes no difference. Sure does look good, though.

Doesn't happen much, but I guess we just disagree here on their effectiveness.

Looks like voter fraud has been discovered in Harris County. I’m seeing it on a national broadcast, but looks like they caught election officials red handed. If it occurs there, you can only imagine in Chicago, Philly and other liberal cities known for corruption.

And my understanding is that most of Trump's money came in the primary. He did little in the general election. If so, then it had more to do with screwing with other Republicans than with winning the election.

Not seeing the story and I LIVE here...

Are you talking about the issues related to the litigation on Dora having sought to extend the polling hours? Local court approved by State Supreme Court overturned. Not sure just how many provisional ballots are in that one hour span.

And then there was the lack of ballots in some precincts, compounding problems with crappy machines that were not feeding properly. These were the machines that Dora insisted on getting a few years ago despite the fact that our older ones worked just fine AND gave a paper record. Meanwhile, these touch screen pieces of crap have been balky from day one...I was having to bang on my machine so heavily the table was shaking. I probably could have been walked for comments related to whose fault it was and the County Clerk who could fix the problem...I know all of the people behind me heard me along with at least those in my row of seven machines.

This is not personal contribution we're talking about here. This is from the republican party war chest money to hand out. Do you understand what Mitchell is doing here?

Explain to me how you can justify 9 million dollars to get rid of an America First candidate and give only 2 million to Bolduc in NH?

i don't know this for fact because it could kind of be a chicken/egg situation. the four races they put money into instead of Bolduc are very close now. Bolduc lost by quite a bit. You could make an argument he would have done better with more money, but you could also argue that McConnell knows these stats and funding pretty well and saw it as wasted money when the money could be better used in the four states that were better opportunities. (Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Nevada.) based on how it played out, i think he made the right call. all four of those are going to the wire.

I have no doubt that the assistance to Murkowski was a bit of a poke in the eye to trump. and BTW, i can't find that Trump gave any money to Bolduc...NONE. he didn't even give him a strong verbal endorsement. Apparently, everyone considered that guy a very, very long shot.

It was Paul Bettencort and two others on a streaming Fox news conference. They had 6400 more ballots than actual voters in one instance. They project as many as “10’s of thousands”expected. I was on a couple of calls so couldn’t hear all details. I am not seeing it on the internet or the station website yet.

Murkowski wasn't worthy of a dime.

They need to replace mitch simply because the party is changing. And he's stuck in the past

Mitch severely underfunded America First candidates but it's Trump's fault that we did bad in the Senate. Somehow Trump's responsible for the House not doing better too. lol.

We better get rid of both Mitch and McCarthy. Their leadership is the problem here.
