2022 House and Senate election

Lake and Masters keep closing with over 25% left to count. But this was truly pathetic by the team Red. If you can’t win with the current situation and historically unpopular president, when can you win? Where was the vision from the turtle and MaCarrhy? Only silver lining is when the actual recession and energy crisis hits in the next year Repubs can’t be squarely blamed for it. It’s also worth noting that red areas are getting redder and blue getting bluer. Left is doubling down where they have power and repubs fleeing to red states making them more red.

Regardless of some of these outcomes no red wave happened. All the factors going against Democrat Party rule and we still get a meager reaction to them. The Republican Party has been proven to be very weak and probably dying. The problem isn't that they are too radical. They aren't radical enough. That has been documented over the last 100 years. Big picture they lost the culture war. Small scale they don't wield power except to attack those who vigorously oppose Leftism.
its funny how we can look at the same data and come to very different conclusions. the whole country is largely pre-decided. all those ads and all that money is chasing the 20% of the country that is not already locked into a party affiliation. A "wave" would have been gaining 3 more seats in Senate. In reality that wave would have manifested with about 1.5% more in each of three states. That wave would have only meant the support of about 200K more people. The GOP is not weak and it doesn't need to be more radical but it does need to quit pandering to Trump's ego.

Per twitter (Bianca buono), Maricopa actually had 290k ballots dropped off Tuesday, an increase from the 275k estimate.

Seriously, there's no excuse for this. All ballots should be counted by now. Whether I'm a R or D, I'm not happy with this ****. Incompetence like this in Florida in 2000 led to them getting their act straight. No excuse to not have this corrected 22 yrs later, it just invites mistrust

The only way my team loses is if everybody else cheats.

The same people who rig games against the beloved Aggies are the ones stuffing ballot boxes against our beloved GOP candidates, a swell bunch

Honestly and respectfully, I’m surprised you guys are surprised what they’re doing in Arizona. I have no hope for Arizona.
It needed to be said.

Just like the shock and awe expressed by things like big fat trans guys winning beauty contests. How is any of this a surprise anymore?

Even more shocking is thinking getting RINOs in power will actually change anything. They are all weak and spineless and prefer to be admired by the media instead of doing their jobs and making life miserable for Dems.

Unmarried women are more likely to get abortions. The timing of the SCOTUS decision hurt.

Nailed it. I suspected months ago the decision would energize a significant amount of the Lib base and sure enough it did. SCOTUS decision on Roe gave the Libs a gift - something to "run-on" that would get better voter turnout in the mid-terms.

Amazing how many people seemingly have to have abortions regularly and not do things like buy gasoline, groceries, and other staples of life. No, abortion is what keeps them awake at night.

In Nevada, if I understand correctly, they are currently counting votes that arrived by mail after Election Day (only requires a stamp on or before Election Day). Since the mail-in ballot presumably never left the county, the ballots should be delivered in 1-2 days. Also, if you mailed your ballot on Tuesday, you would think someone took it to the post office to insure it was stamped on Tuesday. If that was the case, why not vote in person? In short, after today, I would think the mail-in ballots will only be a trickle. I think the elections office will give an update sometime today about the numbers. I think the large number of ballots that were referenced at yesterday’s press conference (those that came in on Tuesday and Wednesday) were likely mailed on Saturday and Monday, respectfully. Anyway, that’s my take. I think Dems are hoping for a large tail of ballots to come in when I think the source is about to dry up very quickly (within 24 hours).

I hope there are Repub poll watchers for the msil in ballot counting.
mc's point about why go to the trouble of taking to post office for Nov 8 stsmp?
How many would do that instead of in person voting?
