2020 Presidential Election: let the jockeying commence

Trump has reminded me of aisle school trash talker. How much of that is am act? It has worked well for him politically, so maybe he's not a bullying jerk but plays one on TV to excite the base?
I was mainly referring to Pelosi acting like a little titty baby throughout the whole evening.

Joe: It's 2020. Mayor Pete had people from his organization in every caucus and pretty much knew the outcome. His supporters include many people who can use cell phones, laptops and this newfangled thing called the internet.

Democrat politicians (and some that are not pols) are like that sneaky, backstabbing Eddie Haskell kid you see on Leave it to Beaver, just with much more bile. They completely destroyed "play-by-the-rules" politicians like McCain and Romney and used the complicit media to make it all seem valid.

Then you have Trump, who just walks right up and kicks them square in the nuts with no regard for niceties. So the sneaky kid is revealed for the complete bastard that he is, while Trump says the underhanded part right out loud, and it just breaks Eddie's mind. That's how you end up with Pelosi ripping up his speech.

I prefer decorum to what Trump does. Having said that, he deconstructs and ruins leftists like no one I've ever seen because he goes on the offensive constantly and they despise him for it.

"The base" has loudly indicated complete disgust of political correctness. Trump appeals to that. That doesn't make him fit for office but it makes millions of people happy that someone is countering the Fascism of PCness.

I believe that.

She couldn't even be bothered to clap or stand up when Rush received Medal of Freedom. I mean come on, he has stage 4 lung cancer. It seems like she could put politics aside for 30 seconds.

I mentioned this on the "wall" thread but this to me is an illustration of the contrast between the accusation of quid pro quo against Trump and THE PARTY PLATFORM of the Democrat Party. I bring this up because of Pelosi's absolute arrogance and the absence of AOC and the other communists.

There are private ranch owners and employees dotting the border down in South Texas. When an illegal alien crosses the river outside of designated and known ports of entry they are not only entering illegally, they are also trespassing. Add to that the known fact (but not reported by CNN) of property damage (fences, gates, windows), theft and threatening ranch and landowners then it's perfectly understandable why the President of the United States SHOULD be concerned. Add to that benefits for illegals (and we know this is what the Left wants), sanctuary cities, the abolishment of ICE and amnesty for Dreamers and what we have is a political party (the Democrats) supporting absolute lawlessness.

So what's worse? A sketchy quid pro quo accusation (the transcript is nowhere near a demand for an investigation) based upon the corruption of the Biden family or the clear institutionalized game plan to open our borders?

None of the Dems even can clap for minority employment etc. Saw one older black member of Congress shaking his head when Trump was touting those accomplishments.

Edit: If there is anyone they hate more than Trump, it is probably Rush.

They literally want him to die. They hate him that much. They don't even bother to hide it; they actually are happy about it.

I can see how Rush would be their enemy but it's interesting to see how people online were very upset at some folks mentioning Kobe Bryant's rape accusation and settlement. They said now wasn't the time for that.

I wonder how many #metoo types agreed with that.

#Metoo has set the bar. They attempted to destroy Kavanaugh. But Kobe is to be spared.

And Rush is to die.

I saw that and wondered that he would hate Trump more than he would be glad for black people getting jobs, not to mention the businesses opening in urban areas which will create even more jobs for blacks. That is some deep hate.

Pelosi didn't even applaud for that young black girl getting a schollie to a better school.

I know. They didn't applaud for black employment, female employment, nothing.

The game is power. If the people benefit then all the better but that is merely a collateral effect of their own policies that they pretend to be true.

Of course, they would say the good economic metrics are because of Obama. That's why the national debt is so important; the positive metrics and stabilization of the economy was achieved by a wide open tap level of monetary policy. QE. Printing money. Borrowing like a drunk college student hitting the ATM machine so he can buy drinks for the girl he's trying to lay.

In addition, they are reportedly negotiating with Team Bloomberg over whether he will get a crate to stand on behind the podium

Mini Mike did use a booster when running for mayor

Yes if they think Obama caused the historic economy, it makes even less sense to applaud. They could explain their applause that way later if asked, which they would be, of course.

Trump is making a transparent attempt to steal black voters in front of their faces. That is not acceptable - only proper decorum is for Dems calling GOP racists. Why would Dems applaud that? Literally Trump is stealing their lunch in front of their faces and the Dems can’t do much about it.

I dont agree that the problem was with Iowans. Blaming them is racist and ageist.

The problem was with the app itself. The CEO of the app maker is a Mayor Peter supporter and was formerly part of the Hillary 2016 IT team. Mayor Peter was an investor in the app. The media is sitting on this story for some reason. People can think what they want to think about these facts, but it is not the media's job to withhold the facts.

My sense is that it is much more than just votes. He actually wants all US citizens to do better, including them. I think this was one of the primary motivations for him deciding to run in the first place.

My comments were limited to the SOTU address that Pelosi had to sit through.

He made them eat one **** sandwich after another. When he gave Rush the Medal of Freedom, right there in the house chambers, I was actually surprised the Dems didn't get up and walk out. They had to hate that more than anything.

And get this -- to top it off, because of course

George Soros was involved in the funding of the app

George Soros was by far the biggest donor to the fund that drives Acronym, giving $2.6 million from 2017 until mid-2019.
Who’s Behind Dems’ New $75 Million Ad Campaign?

Acronym, a “dark money” nonprofit, and its affiliated super PAC, Pacronym, plan to boost Democratic candidates and the party’s image in five 2020 battleground states: Arizona, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. On Monday, the groups announced a campaign called “Four Is Enough,” which will buy ads on Facebook, Google, Hulu, Instagram, Pandora, and YouTube.

Tara McGowan, a former press secretary for Sen. Jack Reed (D-R.I.) and digital producer for Obama’s 2012 campaign, is founder and CEO of Acronym. David Plouffe, Obama’s 2008 campaign manager and 2012 adviser, is on the group’s board and will help raise the tens of millions of dollars they plan to spend between Acronym and Pacronym. They have already raised roughly $30 million, according to The New York Times.
* * *
Since 2017, the National Democratic Redistricting Committee has received six- or seven-figure amounts from 23 donors, most of whom are unions or corporate executives, according to Sludge’s review of IRS documents. Billionaire hedge fund manager George Soros ($2.6 million) and media executive Fred Eychaner ($1.5 million) sit atop the funders, while unions American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME; $572,000), Air Line Pilots Association PAC ($300,000), and Service Employees International Union COPE ($200,000) have also contributed large sums.

I bet most of you probably sensed that someway, somehow Soros would be a the root of this, just like he has been at the root of most instances of political corruption in the US

Where is our MSM on this? Will they just remain silent?

App made by Clinton campaign veterans' firm is behind Iowa caucuses debacle

"Shadow started out as Groundbase, a tech developer co-founded by Niemira and Krista Davis, who worked for the tech team on Clinton’s campaign for the 2016 Democratic nomination. In January 2019, it was acquired by ACRONYM, a Democratic nonprofit founded in 2017 “to educate, inspire, register, and mobilize voters,” according to its website. ACRONYM’s founder and CEO is Tara McGowan, a former journalist and digital producer with President Obama’s 2012 presidential campaign."

"Among Shadow’s larger clients is Pete Buttigieg’s presidential campaign, which paid $42,500 to the firm in July 2019 for “software rights and subscriptions,” according to public disclosures. A Buttigieg representative said that fee was for the text-messaging tool.

Federal Election Commission records also show payments to Shadow from the Texas Democratic Party, Democratic Party of Wisconsin and Joe Biden’s presidential campaign. Kirsten Gillibrand’s short-lived presidential campaign also paid the company for unspecified software and fundraising consulting."

Is this sick or what? The people accusing the Republicans of voter suppression are investing in election software? REALLY?

The same people are wanting the US to sign the Paris Agreement and subordinate our national sovereignty to unelected, unaccountable and corrupt UN bureaucrats.
