2020 Presidential Election: let the jockeying commence

Houston baptist is up on Utep in the 4th. My guess is Beto is on the PA system apologizing for the lousy caliber of football played on the border for the past 50 years

Zero chance doesn’t leave you much room for error, Counselor. And might agree with you, if not for her broad support and appeal to her dems opponents’ supporters in this race.

Take this poll today, for example, in the libtard Economist.

Most dem voters pick Warren as their candidate if/when Biden, Bernie, Kamala,Mayor Pete et al drop out.

Most dems second choice is Warren. Not Biden, or Bernie.

Not convinced?

In 2008, Obama didn’t have 10,000 supporters come out to see him before the primaries. And if he had, it has been said, HC would have “run for the hills.”

I had a discussion on Facebook just last week that had polling data that suggested otherwise, but for the sake of discussion, I'll presume the Economist's polling data to be authoritative.

Here's the problem. Biden's lead is substantial, and unless he has a big health scare, he's not dropping out. Kamala Harris and Mayor Pete don't have that much support from which she could draw, so though they may drop out, she probably would not gain enough support to overtake Biden.

If Bernie drops out (especially if he publicly endorses Warren), that would be the game changer. She is the candidate closest to Bernie, and of the candidates who might drop out at some point, he has the biggest base of support from which she can draw. If that happened, she would have a very real chance.

So does the media's preference for Fauxcahontas mean they are racist against real Native Americans? This is obviously true in Longest Horn's case, but what do you think regarding the mainstream media?

The polling data that suggests otherwise?

Why? I'm assuming the authority of the polling data you linked to. If you really care to know, it was on the 538 Podcast a couple of weeks ago. But like I said, I'm willing to presume your data to be more authoritative, especially at this point.

Is it though?

I guess that depends on your definition of "substantial." He's ahead of Warren by just over 12 points. Link. That isn't insurmountable at this point, but the odds are strongly against it. Again, if Bernie would drop out and endorse her, she would very likely overtake Biden. However, he isn't going to do that unless he does poorly in the early primaries and caucuses. Even in the scenario, she'd have to keep her momentum going for a long time. That's hard to do in politics.

It isn’t difficult at all when the dem front runner is sticking his foot in his mouth. Warren has been stealing college educated white men from Bernie and Biden. Her biggest areas of opportunity are with white women, non college white men, and black/hispanic voters.

But if Biden keeps sliding, which he has been, Warren picks up more of his votes than Bernie. No POTUS candidate has a stronger campaign organization that is more gaffe proof than Warren. That has inspired confidence among many voters that is not likely to wane in the next 5 months, unless she fucks up. And she won’t.

Warren beats Biden/Bernie in two of the three in Iowa, NH, NV but SC is a bigger problem for her, going big for Biden heading into Super Tuesday.

Coming out of Super Tuesday, Warren and Biden will be the front runners, without Bernie’s endorsement.

One of her high-priced advisors finally did something helpful -made her get a new haircut

As far as Kamala Harris goes, she says if Congress does not pass the $93 trillion Green New Deal that she will take over the Senate as President, eliminate the filibuster and ram through the "Green New Deal."

This despite the creator of TGND admitting it was created to implement socialism, not help the environment

Anybody watch any or all of CNN's 7-hour environmental town hall? I didn't, but according to reports, we learned that:

Global Warming is a scientific fact.
Hurricane Dorian is caused by global warming.
Wildfires in Cali are also caused by Global Warming.
We only have 11 years left and then we all die.
Global Warming is a war that is bigger than WW2.
Rich white folks caused Julian Castro's garage on the west side of S.A. to flood back when he was a kid and they must pay (environmental reparations?).
Warren wants to fine and/or jail people who are causing Global Warming; like executives for big oil, coal, and even auto manufacturers producing fossil fuel cars.
Bernie will spend $16 trillion to fight global warming when he's elected, while Amy Klobuchar will only spend $2 trillion.
Kamala will ram the Green New Deal through the Senate by whatever means necessry.
Yang says no commercial airplanes. They're too polluting.
