2020 Presidential Election: let the jockeying commence

Control the message. No dissent. Persist is apparently a one-way street.

95 percent of the media doesn't dissent or even question. It's an unbelievably easy time to be a Democrat. The fact that they ever lose is pretty pathetic. It's like losing a ping pong match to Stevie Wonder.

This is the woman some have suggested is waiting in the wings should the clown car break down. I say she is waiting in the tent.

Wow. She has really thrown in the towel. Like I said before, I think her defeat took a major toll on her.
She has cried and whined and made excuse after excuse blaming everyone but herself. She has thrown in the towel for sure. I'm sure she would have been a formidable match in foreign relations that Trump is dealing with.

I've got some great YouTube video suggestions for her to watch while she eats her cookies. There are loads of media meltdown clips as Trump wins state after state. I enjoy them thoroughly, do y'all think she would too?

The Breitbart reporter Beta ejected is a Jewish man married to a black woman serving in our military.
"A Breitbart spokesperson hit back shortly after the O’Rourke campaign’s statement: “The false accusation that Breitbart is racist, or that its award-winning reporter — an Orthodox Jew, married to a black woman who serves in the military — is either racist or would make anyone at a black university uncomfortable is absurd. The irony of Mr. O’Rourke — who has stated himself that he is the beneficiary of ‘white privilege’ — purporting to decide for black students who should be banned from events that are open to the press, or what they should feel, is not lost on us.”

How can anyone in Texas have ever supported this doofus?

He makes stupid middle aged women get all misty down there. Couple that with **** tons of liberal $$$$ flowing in from both coasts, driving fawning media coverage, and a lot of sexually frustrated cougars really had little choice in the matter.

If the election were held today, according to the latest Quinnipiac poll:

Biden beats Trump 54-38 in popular vote
Bernie beats Trump 53-39
Fauxcahontas beats Trump 52-40
Kamala beats Trump 51-40
Mayor Pete beats Trump 49-40

They must have polled a DNC convention.

My 38 year old daughter still has a Beto sign in her front yard from the Senate election. He seems to have a cult following.

Your daughter likes Beta? That is hard to imagine.

Don't kids always go against their parents? We don't talk about politics needless to say. Just the occasional dig at each other. I don't think she's running around in a mask and black clothing, but I can't be sure.

I know a couple of very nice, almost too good to be true women who are huge Beto fans. They will never be Republicans. Their entire being is being giving and compassionate. Beto plays to that crowd very well. They want to feel good about themselves. I think @Mr. Deez has mentioned this psychological phenomenon before.

Basically it's the anarchy of kindness.

All of O'Rourke's preferred policies would lead to rape, death, and poverty. No excuse.

I am starting to feel sad for Biden

He told a story of pinning a medal on a Navy Captain but
Except almost every detail in the story appears to be incorrect. Based on interviews with more than a dozen U.S. troops, their commanders and Biden campaign officials, it appears as though the former vice president has jumbled elements of at least three actual events into one story of bravery, compassion and regret that never happened.

Ia that gaffe-a-polooza, or is it lies, or is it senility?
And why does CNN/MSNBC think no one will notice if they dont cover it?

"During a campaign stop in New Hampshire on Friday, Joe Biden fabricated an emotional story about pinning a medal on a reluctant Navy captain in honor of his daring attempt to rescue a downed comrade in Afghanistan.

Addressing a crowd of over 400, Biden recalled how the captain rappelled down a 60-foot ravine under fire to rescue the body of a fallen American soldier only to resist when then-vice president Biden tried to pin a Silver Star on his chest to honor his efforts.

“He said, ‘Sir, I don’t want the damn thing!’ ” Biden shouted, recounting the apocryphal event. “’Do not pin it on me, sir! Please, sir. Do not do that! He died. He died!’”

“This is the God’s truth,” he added. “My word as a Biden.”

While the crowd was reportedly moved by his testimony, the incident never occurred, according to the Washington Post.

Rather, Biden conflated three separate stories: a daring rescue by a 20-year-old Army specialist who never received a Silver Star; a visit he made to Kunar province in 2008 as a U.S. senator; and a medal ceremony he presided over for an Army staff sergeant who felt he was undeserving of the award...."

My father in law does that exact thing because he has dementia.

Respectfully, I don't think that's true. For the most part, we adopt our parents' values. Things can interfere with that, but I do think it's the general rule. For example, my dad and his brother were both Reagan conservatives. All four of my dad's kids became conservatives. In fact, I'm the only one who didn't vote for Trump. My uncle's kids were all conservatives, but two of them (both girls) went to college on the East Coast and studied abroad (in Europe). They're now pussyhat-wearing liberals.
