I made this comment last night and realized it was lacking context. What I meant to say was listening solely to what a doctor would do would have meant the economy would been completely ignored. The doctors are one-trick pony's. Save lives no matter what. And we need that on some level. But the economy would have collapsed even further. NOBODY here knows what that would have meant in terms of harm to families without jobs, depending on scraps from Pelosi (who ironically thought $1.6 Trillion was not enough so she played hardball; that's real leadership). It was a huge balancing act and the political response from the Left was to scream "F the economy and if you care about it then you're an evil monster." Thanks... that really helped.
