Ya'll are giving Biden too much credit. Even if he wins he will be asleep at the wheel most of the time. And the SAME arguments were coming from conservatives during the Obama years. "If Obama is elected the United States will fall into anarchy..."

You are missing the strategy. If polls showed Trump +2, then a lot of Dem voters stay home and the Dem party takes it on the chin in the house and senate races. They CANNOT afford to appear to be losing because a lot of the low information Dem voters will not bother to vote for a loser.

this is dead on. everybody has to project "winning". They need the bandwagon effect. the voters on the left are more apathetic than the right. They have to do silly stuff like Free Concerts to gather their idiotic masses and get them to vote. they don't get off the couch for issues, but they'll get off the couch for a free t-shirt.

Love this. between "remain in Mexico" and this. we'll eventually get this done. wasn't a big supporter of the wall. I favor E-Verify, but we obviously need something more than we have now.

But building the wall and getting money off people crossing the border plus a fee on remittances helps

One might dismiss such comments as the ravings of a dementia patient and a has-been who never got over his own electoral loss. But before you do, consider also this. Over the summer a story was deliberately leaked to the press of a meeting at which 100 Democratic grandees, anti-Trump former Republicans, and other ruling class apparatchiks got together (on George Soros’s dime) to “game out” various outcomes of the 2020 election. One such outcome was a clear Trump win. In that eventuality, former Bill Clinton White House Chief of Staff John Podesta, playing Biden, refused to concede, pressured states that Trump won to send Democrats to the formal Electoral College vote, and trusted that the military would take care of the rest....."​

 
If true, they should be tried for treason. I have an alternative solution for the democrats. Run a viable candidate. If Trump is so stupid and so evil, it really should be easy to defeat him.

Yep. Trump's biggest asset has always been the crappiness of his opposition.
 
Looking at electoral math: Trump just needs to win FL-NC-PA-MI. Don’t need WI-MN-AZ-NV-NH or special districts in NE or ME. Of course, I’m assuming GA-OH-IA will follow if the big 4 above goes Trump.

Okay. Assuming Trump wins FL and NC and WI, then he needs MI or PA (not both). Alternatively, he only needs AZ and the special districts of ME and NE. Or, he only needs NV and MN (without the special districts).

By the way, with the current biased polls, Nate Silver still has Trump at 25%. My guess is that Biden will falter during debates which will close the gap to where Trump increases his chances to 40-50%. That is using their system. I would add 50 percentage points to whatever chances that 538 calculates.

I would have said Trump's biggest assets are the many things he had put in place that has benefitted nearly every group including most minorities, forced nations to finally pony a larger amount for NATO,negotiated a more equitable treaty for Americans against Mexico and Canada,brought and his bringing our troops home,started things improving in ME
I am forgetting many things but the point is despite his obnoxious personality his biggest assets are his ability to make things better for Americans and now parts of the world.
 
I’m telling you you are completely underestimating how controlled the one debate will be. Then there will be an excuse to eliminate the next two. My prediction.

They're accustomed to having their nutsack licked by every media figure and never being taken to task on something. Baier is a real reporter, and he isn't used to that. I think that taints his judgment on answering questions.

And of course, he exposed the big hole in the Democratic and media narrative on Trump and Covid, which is that they have no credibility on the issue. They can Monday morning quarterback on the issue (and this joker isn't even very good at that), but none of them were more together on the issue than Trump was especially at the important time. In fact, most of them took it even less seriously. Remember, in February Democrats were saying not to socially distance and to let thousands of people from Wuhan fly into the US and cough on people. They're acting like they are the party of caution, but they were actually the party of recklessness on it when it would have made a difference.

It is reporting that mean ol Trump kicked out a NYTimes reporter for pointing out not everyone wore a mask.
The Beyotch was kicked out because she did not identify herself as member of press but then tried to get into the press area.Rules aren't for her

She was just following the tried and true liberal mantra of "Rules for Thee but Not for Me" that Nancy put on full display and that Pritzker's wife did with travel and that Wittmer's husband did with the boat and...shall I continue?
