So just to be clear - you are condemning name calling?
Libs are the worst about insulting others but if someone says something negative about one of their "protected classes" they lose their ****. It's never made much sense to me.

Apparently gay politicians are beyond criticism, even when compared to a character in a gay positive movie!Libs are the worst about insulting others but if someone says something negative about one of their "protected classes" they lose their ****. It's never made much sense to me.

LH upset that he won’t be able to use the “get out of jail because the president is gay” card.
Okay, here goes (at my peril):He's also mad because he knows he can't get a moderator to silence anyone who dares say something he doesn't like against a gay man. He can on most websites but not here.
I have read the accusation, but not credible to me.But Pete is a creation of the Deep State not Hollywood. He is a CIA swamp rat.
Pete did well not because he is gay, but because he demonstrated political chops. And you know that.Honestly, for how young, unknown, and inexperienced he was, Pete did pretty well. Several far more established politicians did much worse. It just shows how far intersectionality can take you with modern Democrats. (Obviously, if he wasn't gay, he wouldn't do any better than Ben Gleib.)
A better politician in the Dem party would have gotten more than 2% of the black vote. Of course there was a flip side to that with other voters that Deez was referring to. If Pete wants to be president, he would have a greater chance by switching parties (and his policies). Again, Pete is more fable than reality (which I concede applies to all presidential candidates).Pete did well not because he is gay, but because he demonstrated political chops. And you know that.
Or Pete did as well as he did because he was propped up by the CIA. Mayor of South Bend, IN as a Presidential candidate? Nope.
Pete did well not because he is gay, but because he demonstrated political chops. And you know that.
Pete does have political chops, but lots of people have political chops. Everybody who ever made it to a debate stage had political chops. They were US senators, members of Congress, Governors, etc. You don't get to those levels without a lot of political chops.
Pete was to able to raise a lot of awareness and attention (and money) from being gay and therefore different, intersectional, and "historical." Had he just been another straight white dude who was well-spoken, he wouldn't have gotten where he did. In fact, you would have no idea who he was.
He tried to do the same thing Obama did in 2008. Had he been a white dude, would he have beaten Hillary Clinton? Hell no. First, he almost surely wouldn't have run. Second, if he had, she would have whipped his ***, because most of those millennials would have stayed home and because black voters would have voted for Hillary. She would have been slugging it out with John Edwards instead, and she would have beaten him too (mostly because she was a woman).
He dropped out of a very weak field prior to Super Tuesday. You call that doing well?Pete did well not because he is gay, but because he demonstrated political chops. And you know that.
73-year-old Donald Trump is now the youngest person left in the presidential race (Even Bill Weld is older)
Ha! Robo-Candidate programmed for a liberal setting. My main take-away from the Trump era is that American voters do not want a candidate synthesized in some political thought lab. Warren is as synthetic as they come.
I predicted Pete would win the nomination. I was wrong. ...
Now Dem voters want elderly East Coast dementia patients shouting angry gibberish. Go figure.
