It shouldn't surprise anyone. The rest of the candidates are largely panderers to the Far Left, and Bernie is a real Far-Lefty. Why would they choose the panderer if they can have the real thing?

Or to put it in terms that you and Garmel would understand, Warren and the others are the porn actress or topless dancer. She's getting you in the mood, but she won't do anything for you. Bernie is the hooker who will actually put out for you, and even better, she'll do it for money she's willing to steal from Mike Bloomberg. If you're the average self-centered, amoral leftist, it's a pretty easy call.

My main take-away from the Trump era is that American voters do not want a candidate synthesized in some political thought lab. Warren is as synthetic as they come.

As bad as that is, it gets even worse. Rudy is ready to dump on one component of the DC corruption -- how US politicians launder foreign aid back into their own shell corps and offshore accounts. He has the witnesses, testimony, records and money trail. But no one will give him a hearing. Not even our side.
Harry Reid went into politics essential broke, probably insolvent, and came out worth $20M. How did that happen?

Yep, all the RINOs Fox News parades on every day with the we should investigate this and that blah blah blah. Rudy did it and like you said, he will just be painted as a loon.

I watched an interview with Giuliani. He didn't get into details but said he learned a lot on his Ukraine trip. Wish he would be given a platform.
 
I am very leery of Rudi. I heard an interview with him during the impeachment trial and he was about this close to being out of control. He was making wild accusations and was asked by the host (a Fox News woman; can't remember her name) for proof and he kept saying he'd released it months ago. It was not credible to me due to the emotional overflow. He needs to dial it way down. He's too easy to dismiss because of his manner.

He has a case to make, but it would be the equivalent of a 3-week jury trial. With confusing names and twisted plots. Not many would be willing to sit for that, unless they had to. But it's there if they give him the opportunity. This is the guy who took down the mob. Now, onto the next mob.

Now the Dems are down to two white guys who are both nearly 80-years old -- one is "Jurassic Marxist," while the other just spent the last 2 weeks lying about how he was arrested in South Africa with Mandela.
If the old saying is true that we get the govt we deserve then I wonder what do Dems think they did to serve this?

Anyone remember the movie Zorro the Gay Blade? I have been thinking calling Pete Buddha-judge, Pete the Gay Blade because he reminds me of the character (played by George Hamilton). I presume people who aren’t old enough to have seen the movie would think my phrase is homophobic. What do you think (of the comparison) ? Horns up or thumbs down?
