The next Calvin Anderson? Grad transfer OT Tommy Kennedy (6'5,290) with a 3.0 GPA at Butler is getting a lot of run now. He played LT. Hand spoke to yesterday and will see him today and is trying to set up a visit
He is #74 (they dont have the little circles like HUDL does)

Hand did offer OT Tommy Kennedy

we offered another 2019 OT today
Dawand Jones (6'8,360) from Indianapolis
Also had offers from Div-I programs in BBall
One of those 3-stars who started getting a bunch of offers from big programs right at the end

More senior film - commit WR Marcus Washington (Mookie's teammate)
There is a big split in the recruiting services for him
Rivals has him at #145 overall
ESPN at #171
But 247 only at #467

Here is a spreadhseet showing who is a RS for 2018

We redshirted all our freshmen offensive linemen. When was the last time that happened? I cannot remember a single time we did that? Going all the way back to Machovic we haven't had a year where all of them redshirted.

DKR and 120 schollies?
lol
It was so long ago, I really dont remember

Herman & Co were big on playing seniors, all around. I think they did it for 'team leadership' reasons. But it did not always put the max talent on the field. For example, the Roach LB experiment will be over as he returns to DE in 2019. I guess they were aiming for that perfect balance

OK, so, Adimora cancelled that OV to Herm Edwards St

He is locked in for us, and even said he felt "disloyal" taking the trip (per Orangebloods)

I guess most of us probably have the same reaction - "that's a pretty skinny OL"
But I imagine Yancy McKnight looking at him and actually salivating

Here is Eric Nahlin snippet on some of the OLs we are still pursuing

Tom Herman getting Myron Cunningham to take his official visit just a few days before NSD1 is a huge win and potential game-changer. I knew when he went to see Cunningham in person it would mean a lot to the JUCO OT. We saw what happened when former ou commit Jones visited Austin, though a big difference is Jones plays defense and Cunningham plays offense.

With Cunningham currently leaning towards ou, Jay Williams has emerged as an offer-and-sign candidate. He'll visit this weekend. The catch here is the staff will have to balance offering him with waiting on Cunningham. Wait too long and Williams may end up at Free Shoes.

(The decapitalizations are mine)

As someone who has spent a good portion of his life in a weight room. I can tell you he is going to be a hard gainer. I am 5'7 and I think I have broader shoulders than Hookfin. It's not impossible to put on some weight especially if he can do so in the lower body, but his upper body strength is going to max out pretty low for an offensive linemen. I'm guessing he will be hard pressed to put on more than 30 lbs over the next 4 years.

Good news is if he does lots of shoulder shrugs, at his age he might be able to broaden his shoulders by elongating his collar bones.

Anyone know who it is?
