Also have to wonder if ODU's hiring of Nikki McCray-Penson will affect Nalyssa in her recruiting process. Hmmm...

My point was that her UConn trip was much further away than her trips to Tennessee and Baylor, and most likely more expensive due to air far. Plus, she coordinated here visit with that of Lexi Gordon and her family.I don't think it would be so surprising for Christyn W. to choose us. She had three unofficials, not just the one to UConn. She sounds genuinely undecided, like she wants to evaluate them all from the same starting point. It must be unusual to add a school "back in," so there must be something about UT that has caught a real interest.
Does anyone know/heard anything about this kid?
Well, we've gone through decommitments before. Better now than closer to NSD in November.I read on the UConn board today that Lolo Davenport has decommitted from Texas (per Bret McCormick, ASGR).
Not going to freak out about a decommitment but, with her connection to the program, begs the question: What caused it?
She's related to Empress - cousin I think. Just a few weeks ago, Empress, Joyner, Jada and Sug were at an EYBL event where Lolo was playing. Like I said, not losing sleep but I wonder if it impacts the recruitment of Jordyn Merritt (teammate at Plano). What is Lolo's connection to the program? I'm not in the loop.

I think he's referring to Christyn Williams (#1 in 2018) adding UT back in to her finalists.I must have missed something? Is Brunnell showing us more interest? I know she visited last fall, but I haven't seen anything since.
Joanne Allen-Taylor took a visit to Georgia Tech; not sure if it was official or unofficial:
Yeah, see page 18 of this thread. In a USA Today article, Nalyssa stated that South Carolina, Baylor, Louisvlle and Ohio State were ahead of the other schools still under consideration.Moooooo, I didn't realize Smith had a subset of 4. What are the other 3 besides USC?
I like seeing SMU on Joanne's list, if she doesn't come here. I want Travis to do well, and SMU is due some success in something.
We weren't involved in her recruitment, but a very surprising choice:
I would assume she has an offer but I don't recall the name:

Edit: Must have an offer - Coach Aston 'liked' her Top 10.
Did G Honesty Scott-Grayson eliminate Texas from consideration? She seems like a long shot but I haven't seen anything recently. So, with Lolo no longer committed (but perhaps still a target), this is where we stand at the moment for the 2018-19 season (with 13 of 15 slots filled):
Centers: Jatarie White (Sr), Olamide Aborowa (Sr), Sedona Prince (Fr)
Forwards/Wings: Khaleann Caron-Goudreau (Sr), Jordan Hosey (Sr), Joyner Holmes (Jr), Jada Underwood (Jr), Rellah Boothe (Soph), Shae Routt (Fr)
Shooting Guards: Lashann Higgs (Sr), Destiny Littleton (Soph)
Point Guards: Alecia Sutton (Jr), Chasity Patterson (Soph)
Targets: Christyn Williams (SG), Joanne Allen-Taylor (SG), Lolo Davenport * (SG/Wing), Nalyssa Smith (Forward), Queen Egbo (Forward/Center), Jessika Carter (Center)
We're probably behind several other schools for Williams and Smith; they are definitely the most highly-rated of our (known) targets. From a "need" standpoint, the numbers indicate we could use another guard. After that, not sure what's best for the last slot.
3 CyFair Elite players in Texas gear in the picture on the right, Deja, Sedona and ?? I choose to believe it's Christyn because that's what gives me the most hope.
