Glad to see Lolo and Sarah Andrews enjoying themselves and taking photos with our current players.

Hopefully Lolo is keeping the door open to play at Texas. She's talented and will be a great addition to a program. Maybe she is just exploring her options to confirm what school is best for her. It would be great if that school is Texas.

Update on Queen Egbo:

The more I read up on Queen's game, the more I think Texas really could use her skill set. A lot of offensive concerns have been addressed in current/future recruiting classes but a hard-nosed defender and rebounder is always a take.

I've been a huge Queen Egbo fan ever since I saw her rebounding stats over a year ago. Seemed like rebounding just came naturally to her; but, it still requires effort, and she seems to give it on the glass.

While we don't know for sure if the order the schools were listed in that article were directly in the order Queen provided them, they definitely weren't in alphabetical order. And, most writers/reporters don't necessarily change the order the recruit listed schools. Glad we're listed first; might not mean anything as Texas just might be fresh on her mind (assuming she did end up making it our camp).

Definitely think she'd add some skills to our frontcourt.

We've had different results with committed players de-committing and re-opening their recruitment:

Nneka Enemkpali and Sedona Prince ended up re-committing

Peyton Little, Alyssa Dry, Justine Sczepanski-Beavers, Didi Richards, and Charli Collier chose to go elsewhere. Coincidentally, Peyton, Alyssa and Justine all transferred from the schools where they signed.

Gap from 1st to 2nd = 2nd to 5th. What isn't measured is shots influenced which is what makes a great rim protector.

Since I want us to get every great player, I wish Aquira DeCosta was considering us. In a highlight tape I saw of the FIBA 3x3 games, she looked to have it all ... quickness, speed, great handle, great shooting touch, and height. But no, not us..... Baylor is on her top five list. Maybe when she sees Waco she will drop them.

Joe Dallas--I had the same thought when I saw DeCosta's video. She's so quick and athletic. I think Coach George (Washington) made the trip to China to watch the 3x3. It certainly doesn't hurt to have another Longhorn hanging out with Destiny, Christyn and Aquira.

It's worth noting, that the two schools under consideration by both Christyn and Aquira are Baylor and Tennessee.

Joe Dallas-here's the video of Aquira DeCosta you referenced in your post.

Thanks for posting the video. Hmmm....That's not great news, that Christyn and Aquira are overlapping on two schools.

Yes, looking at that tape again, whoever gets Acosta is going to have a great team just from the fact of having her. But I'm not complaining. Couldn't be happier with the roster Karen has put together.
