Way to go Horns....what a great time to be a Longhorn...all of the big 3 men's sports are playing well and we have a National Tiitle in the Great Game. I am brimming w/ the pride of being a Longhorn....what an absolutley wonderful feeling it is.......TO BE THE BEST!!!! So many of the guys contributed...this will go down in history as the BEST baseball TEAM ever to step onto the 40 acres. So impressed.

I hope we all realize how special this team really was. Talk about a true team effort. Unbelievable job by Frank Anderson as well as Augie Garrido. It sure was nice to have a pitching staff that goes 8 or 9 deep in which ANY of those guys could get the job done. Thank you Texas Longhorns and a huge congratulations to each and every one of you. You truly proved you were the best team out there and deserved that national championship.
