2002 National Champions!

This thread is a thing of beauty. It is a shrine to the 2002 National Champions, who on a magical day in June were the best of the best. What kind of hateful barbarian would want to destroy it?
 
This is for the 2002 CWS Champions who will be the CWS Champions every day of their lives. Congratulations to these fine young men who achieved a dream of all dreams,only a few can say that. UT Baseball Reigns
 
Merry Christmas to all of our fine UT Baseball Team,new and veterans,and to the best fans in the country. UT Baseball Reigns!
 
Texas Baseball has a storied past, and an accomplished present, but do you know what? -- the future is ours. We are led by the greatest coaches around. Augie has at least 10 more years ahead of him, and Tommy and Frank still more after that. Gus is a god, and Dedeaux a close second. Skip Bertelmann is also greatness, but those guys are out to pasture. Nobody can touch Augie, Tommy and Frank.

Look around the nation and sit back and ask yourself, who else can better inspire young men to do more for this state? Augie's health is excellent, and this program is Here To Stay. USC and LSU will fall. Mark my words. Texas is on the brink of still more greatness. Texas will return to the domination of old.

Anyone who says otherwise must send me a PM so a wager can be made.

10 more years would be awesome, I hope Augie has that much left in him, but I see no reason to disagree with you.
Would be cool if we could dominate the 00's much like LSU won 5 titles in the 90's...
 
A toast to Augie and our fine UT baseball team. CJ a fine post. We have the corner on the market,so to speak, with our fine young men and our fine coaching staff returning for another extraordinary season of baseball. The season cannot get here soon enough. Thank you to Augie and the boys for a ride of a lifetime this past season. Ready to go again. UT Baseball Reigns!

You'll always beable to have your own memories and looking at your hands with your rings will be a wonderful reminder of the accomplishment you all had as a team.UT baseball reigns. Hook'em!
 
With the first pitch of the 2003 season for the DEFENDING NATIONAL CHAMPIONS (God, it feels good to say that!!!) less than 2 hours away, I wish to say one more time...........

CONGRATULATIONS on bringing UT another National Title, good luck, and we'll be with you all the way in your defense of that title!!!

Have you gotten your tickets to Omaha for the 2003 games yet? We did it last year and it will happen again this year. UT Baseball reigns.
 
Sorry, y'all. The baseball teams 2002 national championship (as with other ones) was all fine and good but, according to Kirk Bohls doesn't even rank above last night's men's basketball win to advance to the final four. Kirk says: "The doubters must give this 26-6 team its due now after this landmark victory that ranks as the school's biggest athletic moment in a major sport since the last football national championship in 1970." I'm ecstatic about advancing to the final four, but as TJ says, we haven't won the championship yet! Plus, longhorn fans have had many significant athletic moments since 1970 (national championships in a few sports come to mind) -- including the 2002 CWS win.

Interesting post. This is about our already established 2002 CWS Champions. UT has the best all around programs for every sport. Congratulations again to the best of the best our 2002 CWS Champions.

The young men that wear their CWS rings with pride will always have their memories. Those of us that were in Omaha when they won will always remember that day,this is what memories are made of. Congratulations to the 2002 CWS TEAM. UT Baseball Reigns!
