Thread title refers to email hacking of DNC and Podesta emails, which the data suggests came from non-Russian 3rd parties on behalf of Wikileaks.Facebook reversed their previous stance and is handing over to Congressional investigators 3,000 political ads bought through Russian accounts.
Couple that with the news that Paul Manafort was offering up election briefings to Russian Oligarchy while holding the Campaign Manager title and the title of this thread is weakening.

Sorry. Just more fake news.Facebook reversed their previous stance and is handing over to Congressional investigators 3,000 political ads bought through Russian accounts.

They were one small step away from demanding that the election results be nullified, indulging the sentiment expressed by #Resistance icon Carl Reiner the other day: “Is there anything more exciting that [sic] the possibility of Trump’s election being invalidated & Hillary rightfully installed as our President?”
So what was wrong with this story? Just one small thing: it was false. The story began to fall apart yesterday when Associated Press reported that Wisconsin – one of the states included in the original report that, for obvious reasons, caused the most excitement – did not, in fact, have its election systems targeted by Russian hackers:
You are missing the point on this foreign interference thing. They don't give two poops about either side of the BLM or the NFL. Their goal is to get people hot/bothered on both sides of the issue to degrade our country. The GOP and our President are facilitating that mission. The Boston Antifa twitter posting from f'n Russia is a great example. They created fake antifa accounts to sow discontent. People not getting hot/bothered about this unconventional attack is what is troublesome. The Russians bought FB ads in support of the Democratic Party
I know of know person of any status at all trying to get the election results invalidated.

The difference is that you and yours are not only acknowledging it but embracing it like Rick Pitino was embracing Adidas and fighting/mocking the investigation into it.The Russians/Soviets were all over the FDR administration, all over DC in the 1940s and 1950s. This is well documented.
The Russians/Soviets also put alot of money and manpower into the US in the mid-1960s to late 1970s period in the US. They poured money into Unions (esp strikes), into campus protests, into civil rights protests, into anti-Vietnam War protests, into whatever they could wherever they saw an opportunity. This is well documented.
Indeed, they did this sort of thing all over the world. And have been for a long time. I personally know a Mexican-American who was paid by them and trained by Fidel to sew discontent in the jungles and rural areas of central and western Mexico (1970s). At one point, according to him, they were attempting to eradicate all Mayan culture and their direct descendants from the area.
The only reason you think this is new or unique now is because you never studied history.
And oh, by the way, we do it too and have been for along time.
The difference is that you and yours are not only acknowledging it but embracing it....
To say that the Russians didn't affect the election is silly. They may not have swung the election from one side to the other but they impacted the election. And, it was kind of close. [fake news]It would be like finding out that one of the referees from the 1984 OU-Texas game was in a poker game with UT coaches. [/fake news] It might not have had an impact. But, it might have as well as the game ended in a tie following a horrible call.Embracing what exactly?
For the millionth time, the Russians did not affect the outcome of the 2016 election. Americans did not like (even hated) Hillary Clinton before she submitted her papers to run. The majority of people who voted for her did not even like her. You are clinging to a delusion to explain her loss.
I'd say burning calories to stir both sides of a debate anonymously is a little different. It would be akin to (pre Aggy-less Big 12) an OU booster buying hateful ads in Texas newspapers on both sides of the UT/Aggy thing to make the fans look bad. When Barack Obama supported BLM, it was considered uniting.
Now that it appears Russians may have spent some money on FB ads supporting BLM, it is considered divisive.
Isn't the reality that it was all divisive?

Batman is an outside cat.I bet you own cats. Tell the truth
The DHS notified 21 states that they were targeted by Russians. I didn't read that they were "hacked". My expectation is that none of those results were impacted. I do think that some of the voter roll information could have been accessed and I would feel confident saying that they're going to probe and see what's there as far as future opportunities. That said, maybe Kris Kobach should focus more on that side of the election system. When you push a narrative that "21 states had their election hacked" (a dishonest rendering of the story which didn't even say what people are claiming it said BEFORE it started to fall apart) which I have been seeing all over social media, you are driving a narrative that the election results were invalid. Why exactly do you think people are trying to show that? To argue for better cyber security? Do you know anyone who DOESN'T think we should improve that?

I have three dogs too. Skews your algorithm. One of my theories is that cat people support Hillary
Seems obvious but I havent seen the theory actually proven yet
But if you have a recruits from the Dallas metroplex, you can create a narrative that either or both sides of the Aggy/UT rivalry are hateful bigots and you can make going to either of them a bad option.Which would have zero affect on the hatred that already existed between those fanbases
Just another loudmouth ou wahoo wasting money
