What if it was not the Russians?

How is this "fake news"? DJT JR., DJT, Kellyanne, etc. have all said that there is nothing to any Russian communications. To say so was dangerous, slanderous, etc. Turns out that not only is there a meeting that is obvious collusion but there's an email chain to document the event. Ironic, huh? The guy checked into Trump Tower on 4 Square! I mean, did they not do it via facebook live? Also, note from the chain that Kushner and Manafort were aware. Also note that DJTJr. spoke on the phone with the guy. Also of interest from news reports is that DJT was in Trump Tower on that day and the Secret Service knew of this meeting. Given that DJT was the only one of the group under their protection at the time why would they have known about it unless he was involved? Also, do you see a world where Jr., Kushner and Manafort go to this meeting with Sr. unaware? That night he spoke about some big Hillary stuff they were working on and would be presenting that next week. Then (I think) they Orlando shooting took place and moved that stuff around.

I mean, this is a rich smoking gun! It reads like a Nigerian phishing scam. You can't make this stuff up.

Emin just called and asked me to contact you with something very interesting.

The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father.

This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump—helped along by Aras and Emin.

What do you think is the best way to handle this information and would you be able to speak to Emin about it directly?

I can also send this info to your father via Rhona, but it is ultra sensitive so wanted to send to you first.

Obvious openness to collude?

There is fire right now as the Trump campaign has transitioned from "we didn't collude" to "this is politics as usual" meaning everyone colludes. What was lost in the recent news is that a Trump campaign associated 3rd party company left all their voter analytics exposed to anyone who found it through lax security. This exposed voter information for 10's of millions of voters. More precisely, this information could have been used to target the misinformation/bonified "fake news" to voters. Of course, you'd have to know where to go to find this information if someone wanted to leverage it, that is someone other than the Trump Campaign. Jared Kusher was in charge of the Trump Campaigns voter analytics operation.

I admit I barely pay attention, but I read that email exchange. First of all, yes it sounds like Nigerian phishing. Second, it sounds like the trump people and the Russian people don't know each other at all and have no line of communication at all, certainly not that they are all lined up to collude to rig a US election (isn't that the base allegation?). So is the collusion that Trump's people were willing to hear bad things about HRC from a Russian source?

Is this email exchange the high water mark of evidence that the Russians interfered in our election, which is repeated as if proved? Obviously it is zero evidence of that.

Is it an election rules violation? Is it a legal violation? What does this represent?

That fits much closer to the legal definition of entrapment rather than collusion.
 
Trump will be impeached. Mueller and his staff will go to every nook and cranny in efforts to link Trump to illegal activity, money laundering, etc. The ironic thing is that Muellar, Comey, and McCabe have been protecting US criminal activity tied to the Clintons for decades who are guilty of the same things they hope to associate with Trump. But the scope of the Clintons in involvement is several magnitudes greater.

Today he's stated that he apologized to DJT many times over for the comment and regrets he made it. Still interesting to see what someone thought before they work for them.
 
Isn't interesting how all the Team Trump people will appear before Senate Jud Com, but all the Obama/Clinton associates won't or vow to plead Da Fif?
