We will get burned for at least one TD. However, we are much better overall than we were. Stutsman is having a Butkis type year because the DL is keeping the OL off of him.

That’s my fear strap. A few more accurate deep balls (and a few less drops) by KU and it’s a different ball game. The open wide outs down the field is a concern with a better pitcher. We will need to bring the pressure consistently.

OUBubba, I think it will be competitive. The Sooners are much better than last year - when Riley went west, he took a bunch of talent with him, leaving BV with a minimum cupboard from which to field a team. BV did well in the portal, and the talent level is significantly better.
IMO, the Sooners, although much improved, are still behind the Longhorns in talent level. The ou defense will have trouble stopping the Texas offense. I expect the game to be very competitive, with Texas putting on the fourth-quarter surge to pull away.

Their long ball makes it stay close till the end. DL finally starts to show up with pressure enough for us to hold them when it’s on the line. Nerve racking.
