A couple of our guys might get beaned.
Get ready to duck.

In contrast, Hurley has also thrown 5 beanballs......................
In 43.1 innings...
...for a 1.04 BBPGA.

Flores getting the start at SS.

coach has been making the offensive lineup exactly like it should be the last few games.

I just tuned in and in the 2nd there were two on and 1 out, Hurley induced a high hoping ground ball to near 2nd base and O'Dowd was able to handle it, tag the runner and make the throw to 1st for the inning ending double play. Play was more difficult than it looked.

UTA making a visit to the mound and it is a pitching change.

About every 3-4 trips through the order when the rear of the order actually helps out, we have a high potential to score multiple runs, could have been possible this inning. ugh. Still possible with 2 outs and Powell, Campbell and GG coming up.

and campbell hits a ground ball up the middle to score 2 and to extend his already school leading consecutive hit game streak.

GG strikes out looking on a pretty good pitch.

All we need is the bottom three in the lineup to extend the inning into the top of the order and we can score a lot of runs a game.

Getting to this one late. Just caught up on the replay. Nice Homerun by Powell, and what a 2nd inning! Hurley’s breaking stuff is breaking well. And Jack brought his glove tonight.

:bevo::bevo::bevo:

Wow, and EK hits a weak ground ball off the handle of his bat and the SS can't get the ball to 1st in time. Runners on 1st and 3rd, no outs.

and Galvan does his job, he puts the ball in play and scores Porter Brown and moves EK over to 2nd. 1 out. but THATS how you contribute from the bottom of the order!!:yippee:

WOW and I thought that ball was out by O'Dowd when it came off the bat but the center fielder jumps up to catch the ball at the top of the wall, doesn't look like it was going to be out but heck of a hit none the less. EK tags up on 2nd and moves over to 3rd. 2 outs.

Flores and Thomas are authorized and encouraged to eat seconds and thirds at the dining hall. Somebody give those two gift certificates to the all you can eat pizza joints.

And Flores strikes out to end the inning but a productive inning with PB being a good lead off and everyone behind him doing what they are supposed to do. This is why I wanted EK behind him, when he had Daly, it was just an out and we could never get PB home.
