I have noticed Powell throws a lot of bouncers to 1st but Thomas usually digs em out. Tonite he did the same to 2nd which is not as understandable as when he is going across the diamond.

We are well positioned for a good run. Potentially a great run. Our limitations are mostly on the offense. You need to score so much on occasion that it completely takes the pressure off the staff. The pitching is not so top heavy that they can’t bring their A games. We do lack a closer, but we have a number of dudes that have closed out a game. And Witts role is TBD. We’ve had 3 dudes pitch 5 plus innings in the last 4 games. None of them named Gordon.

We are getting there. For this team, it’s always been about patience and playing our best at the end of the season.

its uncommon but more accurate for some to just throw a one hop and its still capable of being handled by the other player. Always better to throw it low than too high.

Solid midweek win over team that beat TCU earlier in the year and could have caught Texas in trap game if the Horns took it for granted. Texas absolutely must get sweep this weekend and then see what they can do with the Big XII leaders WVU to close out the regular season.
