But candidly, I could watch Shaylee shoot free-throws all day. She finishes with 25 pts tonight.

I can't believe at this point in the season we are still so HORRIBLE without Rori on the floor. The officiating was ridiculous. A win is a win.

There needs to be a reckoning in the women’s game about the inconsistency from refs. It slows the game down and makes it less appealing.

These players and coaches who work hard at trying to build fanbases and elevate the sport deserve better.

And the fans deserve better as well. Tonight we suffered through a whistle being blown 1.3 times per minute. 52 fouls. 65 free throws. At least it was even, but I refuse to believe these players were that out of control.

I don’t know what the solution is. I don’t watch the men’s game enough to know if it happens there as well, but when the whistle gets blown in anticipation of something happening… sorry for the rant. It was just painful to sit through.

For the second straight home game, Vic and his entire staff went over to the opposing bench during warmups and shook hands with their staff.

After the game, Vic and Sandwitch shook hands and it look like a warm conversation(?) during the handshake.

And then, during the player post-game handshake Chevallier and Gaston hugged each other.

Vic called timeout and gave her a lot of "aggressive coaching" about her allowing herself to be be trapped in the corner. A few inbounds later, she started trying to get out of the corner.

Phantom calls. They would immediately put up a replay on the big screen showing how egregious the call was. But only once.

Two male refs and one female. The male ref covering the quadrant in front of the Tech bench was the WORST of the three.

I liked Chevallier when she played for us. She was terrific during the NCAA tourney. I was saddened when she chose to burn all the bridges on her way out. Tonight, it was just sad to see what she has become: a bench warmer who was only brought in for the final minute because she had fouls to give. Had she stayed, she would have been an amazing backup for Rori and tonight, at the very least, would have played 4 minutes rather than 1. I wish her the best and hope she is getting the mental healthcare she said she needed.

So the organizers of the "wreck the mood" turnout effort tonight probably agitated a few Tech fans who would have otherwise stayed home tonight to do the usual - watch netflix using stolen account credentials. Therefore, they want their fan base to know that tonight's loss to a short-handed Longhorn team was really just part of the "grand plan" for the lady raiders. They are shooting for much bigger goals out there on the south plains folks. Turns out the real goal was an 8 & 10 conference record this season! Watch out Big12!!!

I rewatched the game. I stopped watching when we were up 22 in the 4th. The final 4 mins of the game lasted 25 minutes and it just wasn’t worth watching that foul festival. My takeaway - once again Tech had three extra players on the court most of the night but even that wasn’t enough this time. W Texas. On to TCU…
