This is a game where style points really do matter, at least to the fans if not the national press and pollsters.

Theoretically, consider a game ending with an unexpectedly close one point win for the good guys. Many fans take a negative viewpoint, looking at all the missed opportunities, highlighting the warts, and projecting the poor-ish performance forward on to future contests. I am one who almost always argues against that viewpoint, preferring to look at things as learning/coaching opportunities while still chalking up a W.

Not this time. This needs to be an *** whipping of biblical proportions.
 
Folks, this is a flat out low-life bunch. Everyone knows K-State lost their All-American center to injury pre-season. K-State is 3-8 and second to last in conf. standings. Well, Krista found something to hype in the midst of another sorry season: they beat the wounded bird twice. So apparently they are gonna flex and dance on the grave. Here is one of multiple post-game social media posts from yesterday where these clowns are actually flexing on the bottom of the standings (I'll spare you the post where they are all dancing on video and shouting "Dubs"). This is a very sick program.

I wish we would be the SH_T out of them.
 
I cannot wait to be in full voice at the Moody for this one after suffering through this matchup last season at the Drum.
Guarantee Vic will do everything he possibly can to prevent another water bottle celebration in the visitor’s locker room (amongst other very annoying aspects involving that school). To think it’s looking like two more seasons of putting up with this…ugh

They're trying to rebuild their program from the bottom - just marketing to potential recruits who generally know nothing about roster issues.
 
Oh wow they actually passed a mic around to ask questions in that presser. Only took until February to accomplish such a simple task
 
TTech is listed as “next four out” in Crème’s bracket today. Hard to believe they are even listed. Would be nice to squelch any possibility with a robust beat-down tomorrow.
 
I’d like to see as many Big 12 teams get in the dance as possible. I’m still a pro Big 12 old schooler until move to the SEC I guess.

On the flip side, they have every motivation to try and sweep us and strengthen their case. We better be ready for that.

Not me. I want to beat Tech by 60 points. I hope by halftime their team, coaches and fans realize they have no hope of winning the game or making the NCAA tournament. I want to see their coach stomp around angrily after perceived bad calls in her white faux-leather stripper boots, berate the refs as they ignore her and run right by, and once again refuse to shake Vic's hand at the end of the game. I want their bird-shooting former Mississippi State player to give us the finger as she runs towards the locker room.
But - that's just me.
 
So 48 hours after they beat the 2nd to last team in the conference standings, they are reliving all the glory of that victory all over again, and imploring everyone to "see how we took down the Wildcats!", and to celebrate their "fourth Big 12 Win." :facepalm:

So, yeah, I'll be there tomorrow in my burnt orange, cheering us on! And I hope we kick their ***! But really, this is the school website saluting their team.
 
We need to take care of business tomorrow. If we continue to play like we have been at Moody lately it should be no problem.

After OU’s win over Baylor tonight they are right behind us in the standings.

LOL. Talk about softball questions. None of that means anything for this game. Reminds me of a high school journalism interview. On another note, I really hope the students will help with the turn out for the game tonight. Rain should be gone by the afternoon and the arena is right on campus. So I'd like to see a crowd that's even better than the oU game.
 
I just can't wrap it around my head that TT has a decent team this year. And yet they beat TX in Lubbock. That was mind boggling to me. Didn't expect that.

The bulk of their wins this year were non conference games where their strength of schedule ranked around #262 I believe.

I definitely look at that loss in Lubbock as THE worst of the season and most damaging to the Longhorns. Must have redemption tonight.

The thing that caught my eye that those who don't follow Tech much wouldn't know:

"Obviously she gives constructive criticism when it needs to be said, but she’s never really ridiculed any player of hers, and that’s just awesome."

The last WBB and last 2 softball coaches were fired for abusive behavior by the coaches.
