Note how the Socialist government is taking increasingly harsh steps to subjugate the people. First, they force you to inject yourself with an unproven/semi-proven medicine. If you object, they/them cancel your insurance, steal your fuel and wood, freeze your bank accounts, kill your dogs, arrest you and threaten to arrest journalists if they video the police actions. Then they bring in tow trucks that have their company names covered to haul away the protestors' trucks.

Some of the actions I actually understand and agree with, but most are classic examples of every socialist regime in history. Eventually, "You will comply or die".
I really appreciate Ruger, Remington, Mossberg, Glock and Baretta in these interesting times.

If they shut down ALL of the lanes? Sure. My understanding is that even on the bridges, however, that there was a lane that was open, albeit moving VERRRRRY slowly.

In downtown Ottawa, there was not gridlock. And even in many of the streets with trucks, there were still lanes which were open.

Trudeau just couldn't get beyond kids having fun in bouncey castles. They were such scary things...

One upshot to all of this is that many of the provinces HAVE taken down their mandates. Now we just need Parliament to do the right thing and take down the little dictator-wannabe.

I watched 5 minutes of some guy walking through the snow and then coming up to an area that was a protest. So the police are going to tow trucks that are purposefully blocking the flow of traffic, you know, like, COMMERCE. If I did that outside my workplace on the 4 lane road that's down to one lane traffic my car would be towed as soon as they could get a tow truck there and I would have a hefty fine.

Until Seattle allowed CHAZ, BLM protests around the country were seeing any barricades removed in short order. The protesters tried to block streets with commercial garbage bins, cars and other items and they were all quickly removed within 24hrs. Now suddenly THIS is fascism? Is the irony lost on everyone that many of simply flipped sides because they agree with the agenda of the protesters? Now it's fascism whereas when black and white sympathizers were protesting in similar manners that is bad and they should not just be stopped but actually roughed up per some on the West Mall.

Though I think the BLM example fits you can go back to the Wall Street protesters that camped out on the sidewalk. NYC allowed them to remain (even as stinky as hippies get) for awhile but eventually pushed them out of the square they had taken over. I don't believe they were blocking traffic/commerce though.

These truckers have attempted to blockade the city. Initially they were blaring their horns at all hours to annoy the **** out of the residents. After threats of arrests for that they stopped with the horns. Still, they've blockaded the city, commerce, for nearly a month. There isn't a Democratic country on Earth that wouldn't eventually use law enforcement to end these types of activities. But...per some the Earth qualifies as "fascist".

Nothing wrong with clearing the roads. Many things wrong with freezing bank accounts, stealing fuel, cancelling insurance, killing dogs, and hiding from the media while you do it.
Primarily, it is wrong to force people to take a vaccine of questionable efficacy.
 
This was during the BLM demonstrations. Can you imagine the wailing/knashing of teeth if this were done prior to 1/6 or in Ottawa now?

I wouldn't have a problem with it. In fact, Trump offered 10,000 Guardsmen to Pelosi before Jan 6th, and she said no.
