Anyone following the drama around this weeks ticket pull in college station? Kids camped out for days for tickets to the Texas game. Rumor is the frats got priority in the large group ticket pulls and bought guest passes for their frat brothers in Austin.

Look at the mess the students left behind… This is what happens when you admit 80k kids to your school. You lose control over the pride and respect that has made your university unique.

I thought aggy was supposed to be too classy to do something like this. This looks like a homeless camp.

I'm not surprised aggy never left the 90's moving into a more tech based solution to ticket draws. I was at the last ticket draw at UT where people camped out for tickets which was for I think it was the 1992 OU game. It might have been 1991. We got there the day before and spent the night having a relatively good position on the 3rd level ramp at Belmont. Well, throughout the night the line went all the way to the top of the stadium, all the way back down then back across the stadium to where we were. Needless to say when the ticket window opened the lines merged and those of us who had been there 24 hours were a wee bit upset and a pretty big disturbance broke out. The next draw they moved to a wrist band and time slot assignment to avoid the massive lines and have since moved on to better things.
 
They're just kids like we were once. It's the alumni and administration that continue with the ruse of their classy aggy ways. Their self-image is not in touch with reality and we've known that all along. But it's not just us. We all know alumni from other colleges (such as myself who went to Trinity) and it's all the same. Aggy is perplexing and they almost seem proud of their constant toe stubbing and embarrassing ways.

There have been many big games in the history of the Texas Longhorns, but this one coming up may be the biggest of them all given the emotion that will be displayed. I wonder if our young players really understand what is happening. I'm sure Sark is telling them that our intensity must be at a fever pitch on the first play. The pent-up anger and resentment from aggy will be hard to match. I don't feel that we have the same level of emotional need that they display. Somehow we need to amp it up.

But first, we have to beat Kentucky.
 
The worst problem with aggy ticket pull is the complete lack of respect for the grounds. Really ags are such disgusting slobs. How hard is it to throw your trash away?

Even Aggies have limits. How can we expect them to tell the difference in where is the garbage collection/dumps and the rest of Brazos County?
 
On my Google feed I saw an article about the price of tickets for UT vs a&m. It is the most expensive ticket in college FB. the cheapest ticket is $622 in nose-bleed territory. Most expensive is $5447.
By comparison, 2nd most expensive is tOSU vs Penn St. Cheapest ticky = $180, most expensive = $892.
Aggy is absolutely price gouging. I guess they need the $ to pay Jimbo, + payment on new stadium, + recover from yrs of mismanagement.

I suspect that was aftermarket as opposed to official pricing...which means cheap seats can be had five minutes to kick...
