I have dropped all sites including Fox. Fox will not let me read all articles without signing up. I just moved to other sources for news including WM.
Did not think I would ever say it but my last hold out on Fox Busn, Stuart Varney has slid to so much politics I’m only watching on occasion from what used to be my morning ritual. Fox News is only on because wife is addicted. I won’t say it is Maddie sickening but to the opposite degree they get too obnoxious for me although I admit to liking Gutfield’s humor often.
But WM, that’s another story, so many on here are so well informed I thoroughly enjoy learning and being prompted to look further into items from these members.

What I notice is that the perpetrators fall within a minority group that commit 60% of all violent crime in America.

Hmmmm. why isn't this being blown up as a "mass shooting"?
The truth is that most of the "mass shootings" are exactly this type. Young punks, typically black, getting into an argument that escalates into someone pulling a gun and firing as many rounds as they can in the general direction of whoever they are fighting with. bystanders get hurt and it is "another mass shooting in America". Many (if not most) of these people already have records and possession of a gun by itself would be a further jail sentence. But our soft-on-crime city DA's won't pursue this aggressively so we have people who are breaking the law allowed to engage in a "mass shooting" when a stop/question/frisk would have likely gotten them off the street.
They also count this as children killed by gun violence.
2 adults now charged with murder and apparently one of them fired the first shot. How dare someone stare at me.

Some guys are like that. Back in the early '80s, my mom was on the subway in San Francisco. Some black dude walked up to her and said, "you were looking at me." She said she wasn't, and he punched her in the face.
Well that certainly sucks, but I had a similar experience. I was jogging down the hike n bike trail and figured I would be better if I nodded a friendly hello. So I did and 4 of them put me in the hospital.

In Texas? Dallas area?
My running days are long over but I never encountered anything like that at white Rock lake. I've heard bad stories about the Katy trail, I stopped running before KT was popular

But I did have an incident the White Rock trail when I lived there. A friend and I were rollerblading, yeah people used to do that, and an idiot kid next to the BB court parked his bike right in the middle of the trail and on rollerblades there is no instant stopping, so that cost me a trip to the DR.
I hope that dude is getting repeatedly raped in prison if he isn’t already dead.
Probably a city councilman.
