They're repeating and reinforcing the Biden campaign talking point. What I find kinda remarkable is that the party that says we're all gonna die of Covid and that the country is dominated violent racism is supposedly light and positive and that the other party is dark and negative.

I dated a WH reporter in DC for awhile. Every day, she got bombarded by emails, texts, faxes and even hand-delivered material from both sides. Absolutely non-stop. Every single day, including Sundays.
So that is not really the question.
The question is, why do they almost unflinchingly run with the ones from the Dems?

Because, like stupid *** athletes and celebrities with adoring fans, Rather still is credible to all the other dishonest media. Yep. I saw him interviewed by the Texas Monthly guy once, and TM guy basically just shrugged it off in 2 seconds as if nothing substantive had happened, a fake Republican conspiracy, even though it is what got Rather fired.

My dad went to high school with Rather, who was younger. He said nobody liked Dan back then. And this was said at the height of Rather's popularity, not after his fall from grace for forgery.
