Texas vs Oklahoma game thread

Post-game, Kyler refused to shake Sam's hand and some say he called him a *****.
I wasnt there, so I dont know
A winner? No. stud?? No. hmm baller? Nah. I give up!!
But seriously, if true that is really something.
Why in the world...???

HELL YEAH!!!!

I'm emotionally exhausted, returning from the game and can now post:

OMG ... where do i start?

HUGE WIN OVER A TEAM/ PROGRAM I HATE!!!

DICKER to win it!!!!

Overlooked man: TE Beck - tons of blocks to give Sam time, 2 HUGE catches for a 1st that kept drives alive that got points.

Sam: no TO's , no sacks, clutch decisions to run or throw to NOBODY! He missed some that made me grimace others could have made that throw.

Hager (huge fumble recovery ) and Ohmenihue were beasts on the D today. Many others with key plays today.... too numerous to mention.

INGRAHM BABY - DAMN!!!! We got us a stud y'all

LIL' JORDAN - F' 9 catches, 1 TD... several HUGE clutch catches!

Johnson had a MONSTER day with a sooner ******* draped over him all day!!

48 points scored on those sorry ******** !!

Horns have not won since 2013.......

Glorious day for all Horns today at the CB!!!

48 - 45 :yippee::ousucksnana:

Who knows maybe Sam said something first...
There were two other Longhorns standing right there so they know. Looked like Kyler was talking to K Boyd.
Who knows. Well, like Nino Brown said, "See ya... wouldn't want to be ya."

A good observation I thought: On LHN post game Dan Neil said about Sam, he stepped into the huddle with approx 2+ minutes and said guys, we run this drill in practice every week. He gave them a calming presence and confidence, inspiration they need to focus and get the job done.

I LOVE Gus. I would listen to Gus call a nil-nil Soccer game, that’s how good he is!

I wasn't wild about Gus at first but he's grown on me. He's gotten better, but I'm also getting accustomed to his voice. I'm not a fan of high-pitched yellers. But I would definitely put him in the top 5 CFB announcers right now.

Who knows maybe Sam said something first...

From what I know of both Sam and Kyler, that's doubtful... But who knows, maybe they were arguing about whether barbecued baloney is actually considered barbecue.

I’ve heard this a few times in the last hour or so

If someone else didn't already post this I will.

Re: Murray snub:

# 1 He is VERY likely a huge ou prick.

#2 His team lost.

# 3 KM started and won 43 games at Allen HS. Won 3 state of Texas HS Championships. He won all the games he started in HS, at a&m (none) and ou.

THIS WAS THE FIRST GAME HE STARTED AND

LOST!!!!!! :hookem:

In deference to those who always find excuses for our defense being subpar at times, I find zero excuses for letting a 21 point lead get away. 65 yard qb keeper? A coach or a few players forgot their assignments. The offense drank clock as much as possible most of the game. Defense had great results with turnovers but then went into hiding for a while....,

PH, that would be a fun mid week list to ask the masses. Top 5 CFB current play by play. I know Pam Ward would not make my list

BTW did anyone think Caden Sterns looked gassed or injured on some of OU's TD's? I am not sure of his 40 times but have seen him be a ball hawk this season. I thought leg problems as I watched him chase after plays or someone made a move on him....maybe too many snaps?

What I am surprised we have not heard is...

Who got Dicker the Kicker
A shot of some Liquor
Kid deserves MUCH more than a Helmet Sticker

I believe it was because they had to call the timeout at 1 second left on the play clock, not the game clock. The previous play, 3rd down started at 0:58 seconds, Ellinger ran for 1 yard to the OU 23 and the game clock was running but so also started the play clock at the end of that play. Running down the play clock to 1 second left 0:14 on the game clock. Kicking the field goal took the game clock down to 0:09.

If they had let the play clock expire, would have lost 5 yards delay of game, still would have been 4th down, now longer field goal attempt, wouldn't have changed the game clock, though would have saved the timeout, meaningless at this point.

P.S., why I was screaming at the TV during earlier plays of this short drive --- don't leave more than about 5 seconds on the clock at the end of this drive. If you make a FG, then pooch kick the kickoff after the FG into the non-skill Sooners, they fumble around with it, clock runs out, game over (somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the clock does run on kickoff returns, right? If not, you just leave enough time for ONE Sooner offensive play).

But the Horns were throwing 20-yard pass plays on the last couple to three plays of that drive, not controlling the clock. Texas had 2 timeouts, so if it got all panicky from a runplay result, burn one of them.

If Texas had run, run, run, with each play targeted to end where Dicker would want a spot, would have taken off game clock time and allowed Texas to have the game clock expiring before the play clock for that FG attempt.
Makes sense.

Bet you had a great and easy time...especially till 3rd quarter with that comfortable 45-24 lead. Little did we know that the same OL and offense that performed so well, would put it in cruise control and stink up 2+ drives into the 4th. And this caused every Texas fan *** to turn into a suction cup in the last 3 minutes!! I CAN LOL about it now. BUT
THIS HASVGOT TO STOP..NOW...
IF IT DOESN'T ...WE ARE GOING TO LOSE A GAME WE SHOULDN'T. And it will be
Tom Hermans fault for assuming to go conservative and play not to LOSE. Are you listening Tom?
