Texas-TCU Game Thread

It's like the refs let them hold on every important play on that drive. On the 3rd and 10 run by the QB at about 4 min. to go, our man on the end was turned around running for the QB and the OT still had his arm extended with jersey wrapped in his hand. How can they not call that?
Seems like ever since Mack left the calls have started going against us... It started at the Strong game against OSU.

The 3 man DL is stupid but there were some player issues today as well. No one listened when I said everyone was misjudging how much
LJH and Omemihu (among others) would be missed. We do not have that type of playmaker when the chips are down and unfortunately, as gutsy as he is, Sam does NOT find the open receiver when he has pressure. He locks in, sorry but it’s true. That doesn’t excuse our D of course, bur we should be able to score more points - period.
Regardless, I’ll see you in Austin come game time.

I hope Herman takes a long hard look at the D in total, the O line, etc. and make some changes. The 3 down D linemen isn't cutting it for a start. No pressure on opposing QBs, Hell, we could make a long list of issues needing to be addressed.

It appears a lot of the momentum from the 10-4 season and SB victory is lost. I don’t know what’s going on in the locker room but it’s not good whatever it is. Appears there is some dissention between coaches and players. At least Eagles. It affected play today.

I imagine Chris Del Conte is going to have a fun next 2 weeks
Starting right now -- in fact, I would not be shocked if he has already removed the battery from his phone

Mansa Boy, it’s time to reassess everything because your program is in trouble. I would like to see some humility but I don’t think he has it in him, and that has always concerned me.

Can’t wait to hear how “he loves the players, and they all love each other.” Think I’ll puke.

I was surprised Eagles did not see the field. I had told wife he would probably be held out first half, never thought he wouldn’t see the field.

Mensa. Classic example of book smarts not being better than common sense.

It's so easy to see we are getting punked by every QB, even inexperienced freshman.
Orlando should be ashamed. But I guess I wouldn't be ashamed either when I'm receiving all those green backs.
Well I'm sure he is feeling okay because of the injuries. Tom probably agrees with that.
Orlando has to change scheme so that we can get more pressure on the quarterback

Ok, I know I don't post much, but Mark this post. Mark it!!! TH is NOT the answer. IMHO he is an arrogant overrated asshat and I will just sit back and watch as his demise unfolds.

With what I've seen the last 2 games. His seat should be heating up. We still have KSU (home), Baylor (away), ISU (away) and Tech (Home). We might be hoping to beat Tech to be bowl eligible. That's despicable.

So many on this board were talking OU rematch in December 2 weeks ago. Wow, what a crazy memory that is.

Wife just said “ so this means we don’t have to spend all the money at Christmas time for the bowl game like we did last year???” Silver lining in everything.

That's classic!!! Best laugh I've had in awhile! You have a great wife with an excellent sense of humor!

Orlando is not the only problem.

I know some will disagree but I would dump Beck. There is nothing that can be done about injuries on “D” and maybe the scheme is not what some think it should be. But Beck’s boys make too many mistakes and the play selection sucks way too often. I will admit that I do not like the guy, think he is arrogant and don’t think his offense is as good as it needs to be, especially considering the current problems on defense. He is the offensive coordinator. Captain of the ship, a sinking ship. There is another guy on board.
