and he hits it hard but only a sac fly. only 1 run comes in but it's something. Kennedy scores. runner on 2nd tags up and moves over to 3rd, runner on 1st.
 
Wow, Brown looks to go with another excuse me swing and essentially has the same trajectory as a bunt to the left side of the infield. What a colossal error by the pitcher, i think that pitcher was wanting to stop his motion and go to 2nd but he let go of the ball and i swear that ball looked like it was headed for the 1st base bleachers. Another run scores. Two runners on the base, 2nd and 3rd. still only one out.
 
and Schuessler has a productive at bat with a sac fly, another run scores. still a runner on 2nd, 2 outs, Belyeu up.
 
Borba strikes out on a pitch that looks a lot like Holmans slider that starts on the inside of a RH batter and ends up out of the strike zone in the opposite batters box. End of the 3rd.
 
Base hit. next batter Harrison beans him on the first pitch. Announcer says this is the 5th hit batter so far and we are in the top of the 4th.
 
harrison only lasted 1.1 innings. Hurley only lasted 1.2 innings against Texas St.

Boehm, 1st pitch is a soft liner to middle infield for an out.
 
Boehm stays ahead of the next batter, and its a 1-2-3 pitch strike out with a nasty slider low and out of the zone. 2 outs.
 
Gage's 1st pitch to the next batter is a fast ball right down the middle for a strike, 2nd pitch is a slider out of the zone low but batter swings and misses and Gage throws inside with a slider that starts out on the outer part of the plate and ends up just inside and the batter swings over the top of it for the 3rd out.

:point-up: that right there is how it's done. Rinse, repeat. pound the strike zone. fool the batter.
 
Kennedy up. and he squares around to bunt on the 1st pitch and has his bat head down which is a fundamental error for a bunter, it almost always fouls off or pops up. and it fouls back for strike number 1.

kennedy works a full count though and hits a nice little soft line drive to right center field for a single.
 
Thomas hits the first pitch he sees and pops up to near the warning track in front of the crawford boxes. 2 outs. This is just not Thomas' weekend. Powell up.
