Texas State game

Geez, double steal on and looks like the ball got there in plenty of time at third but called safe. Texas St. is aggressive. and after watching the replay, looks to me like hes out. would be 2 outs.

and call was reversed, called out at 3rd. big time call and looks like the right call to me but it was close.

next pitch was a swinging strike to end the inning. on to the bottom of the 8th. Dang, cardiac longhorns.

Hats off to the Texas St. coaching staff, they are doing a great job over there and that team can play.

Schuessler up now. Schuessler grounds out to 3rd. top of the 9th.

And no lie, when i hit send on that the message before the blast, he hits it. unbelievable.

and a great pitch by Shaw, he is able to paint that low zone so many times, k looking. 2 outs. Pena up and homered yesterday to tie the game, so it's not over.

Pena base hit up the middle. one on, 2 outs. Tx St. keeps battling. well coached team. either way, deserves a tip of the hat.

I'm always confused how pitching can set a school record with a zero run sweep....it's never happened....and then can't close out one inning with the lead against a decent but not great team. 11 runs given up??

Texas gave today away about seven times. Not a good day for the Horns and not a good weekend so far down in Houston. Need to not go o’fer Minute Maid and find way to beat a good Vanderbilt team tomorrow.

Sounds like Gage Boehm may be our best stopper to come in a stop a potential big inning for the opponent.

Yeah, maybe. I’m a little gun shy now, seems like every pitcher starts out with a bang and then quickly falls apart. Today, Gage looked sharp for the most part.

Well, I'm pleased you stalwarts did AMAZINGLY RALLY the team but we fell a little short due to late relief pitching!
