Texas/Stanford press conference. Need to scrub over to the 11 minute mark to see Texas and Stanford comes on a few minutes after Texas leaves! Prior to Mike White’s arrival the lead commentator asked who was from Austin. Not a single reporter from Austin was present for the press conference! I was floored! Maybe 3 reporters present in the press conference??

I finally got to watch the game as I was traveling Thursday (but saw the top of the 5th inning from a bar TV that was somehow squeezed in a corner of O'Hare - it literally had 5 barstools and that was it).

I was stunned by how many strikes were called by 3rd base ump. Almost all were in favor of Texas, so yeah I'll take that. But one that was against Stanford was NOT a strike. Most of the time they're not paying attention and I can't believe this guy had the confidence to call them.

We were having a debate in our house: Stanford vs OSU, who do you root for and why?

We all agreed Stanford because they're more "beatable" in a rematch with Texas, than OSU. We think.

However, Stanford's offense scares me much less than OSU's.
