Texas Georgia game thread #2. This time it's serious.

It was a just result. We did not play like a team that deserved to win. We weren't robbed. We are a top ten team for sure but our flaws are insurmountable against a top team. Especially a physical one. Plus it was a back-up QB. That should have been our edge.

Well, they ain’t gonna win the natty with that QB. We’re in the playoffs and have as good a chance as anyone.

Well, that and a lack of awareness by QE that surfaces FAR too frequently.

I'll sit and wait for the poops from the fan gurls that cannot watch a game objectively...

I was happy with QE in his first two years here. However, he did not take his game to another level in his third year.

Wouldn't hurt to have a kicker not shanking routine FGs. We played well enough to win, but the OL once again failed at seemingly every important down. That unit isn't going to take any big steps forward this offseason without some serious introspection about who's getting too many reps and who's not getting enough. The portal needs to be VERY active for the line.

Well, at least we can look forward to potentially hosting a CFP game.

Such Bullchit....
Umps were determined to keep Ga in this game.
Kirby smart knew he had that advantage
Nothing neutral about that site either
I've been pissed since 2nd quarter

Man, that’s two years in a row we had opportunities at end of game to win in playoff game (I know this was a championship and not a playoff) and can not get it into the endzone. Crap - something is wrong when we can’t get an open receiver with this talented a group.

We need a head coach and an offensive coordinator who actually calls the plays.

Not good enough for the ledge jumpers. The thing is, we are headed in the direction where we should be in the national conversation annually.

Maybe, if we play in the third time, we’ll get over the hump. But it’s not gonna happen until Sark starts understanding that to have a running game against this defense, you have to have Arch Manning as your quarterback.

The fact that he got about two snaps is an effing joke. And Sark’s play-calling after the 1st and 10 in the overtime was absurd.

The lack of a running game was killer in ot. Not having a mobile qb on a zone read or true rpo is also tough against a fast physical defense in the red zone. I have no idea why they appeared to abandon passes over the middle on those last three downs.

In the end the defense failed to hold Georgia to field goal.
That is the unvarnished truth.

Georgia’s lines are both very good—especially the defensive line—is the best on the sec. They dominated our o line again.
7 sacks, and our running game was awol. They made the Horns offense one dimensional.. They put Quinn and Sark behind the eight ball.

Bert sucked *** as well and we should portal a kicker, but it's mostly about Quinn screwing up a really good team. Arch would have had a big lead at half and wouldn't have needed the kicker.
