Rupp leads off the top of the 22nd with a bloop single to left. Is that the first time we've gotten the leadoff batter on base in extra innings?

Loy lays down a perfect bunt along the first-base line. He's out at first but Rupp moves to second. One away, Clark up.

Clark takes the first pitch for strike one. Next pitch hits the dirt. Catcher does a great job of keeping it in front of him and holding Rupp on second.

Clark nearly hit with the next pitch; count goes to 2-1. Clark whiffs on the next pitch and the count is even, 2-2. PRESTON SENDS ONE DEEP ... ah **** ... it's foul. ****. It started fair but hooked just foul. ****.

Next pitch is high and tight and the count is full. Clark drives the payoff pitch to third. Wiswall knocks it down, make certain Rupp holds on second, and then throws to first for out No.2. Etier up.

Etier pops up meekly to shallow center for the third out. Two more choke jobs with RISP. Astounding.

Even Doug, our OU friend, is rooting for the horms. But he's drunk a lot and probably hoping the UT owner will comp him a drink.
 
Pop out to shallow center retires side and yet another RISP left on base, I think thats 50 or so tonight we have left in scoring position. 20 innings and not a run to show for it.
