Texas-Baylor Game Thread

Rewatched the start of 3rd down. Shackleford threw his guy to the ground then jumped on him to hold him down. Isn’t that what you are supposed to do?

This team is balls. We have nominal "captains" that arguably make the worst plays every game. If those guys are our leaders, it's a miracle we have 6 wins.

This season reminds me of 97’. Demoralized implosion to end the season. Tons of talent, most injured on the sideline.

Imagine going without a TD in a Big 12 game. I wouldn't have ever imagined a Texas team at this point in the season being THE WORST in the league. But here we are. I don't even have any hope to beat Tech at home next Friday.

I really expected a strong effort today, and creative play calling. This performance is truly embarrassing. There will be plenty on no shows at DKR Friday. Heads need to roll next weekend.

TH is ours for a while, And Texas will next want a splashy name. Personally, I'd prefer a Ruhle-type who can teach and emphasize fundamentals - skills our staff seems to lack. KSU and TT have done that - we;ll see if it works. Last year's WBB had obviously no chemistry and no visible concern when getting hammered on court; no sign that that has changed this year. FB seems to be afflicted with the same don't-give-a-**** attitude at times. It's tough to watch both teams ... We're a volleyball school! Love the swim and tennis teams! Go Shaka! Tough to be a fan these days ...

See how BU is playing D even though they're up by a ton? This is something we're incapable of. We don't have that kind of fire or coaching or athletes who are humble enough to keep pressing.

FS1 announcers saying it will be hot and heavy in Austin. They keep comparing Matt Rhule and Tom Herman. Each has had 3 years. Texas has had better recruiting. Yet Baylor is so much better.
