we should've exploded already if we could get a mother f'in clutch hit..... 3 innings in a row now. ****. one of these innings we're gonna get at least a couple runs... i feel it. COME ON HORNS!
 
Clark, Keyes and Rupp are up for Texas in the bottom of the 7th.

Clark rolls one to second, who throws high and pulls the first baseman off the bag. McKague tries to make the tag but the ball squirts free. E4. One on, no out, Keyes up.

That's Army's first mistake in two games versus Texas. Can the 'Horns capitalize?

Keyes lifts one over the left-centerfield wall for a two-run homer. Texas pulls to within 7-6.

Bases empty, no outs, Rupp up.

Cameron takes strike one, then bounces a 1-1 pitch that Moore knocks down but can't keep from going for an infield single. One on, no outs, Maitland up.

Maitland shows bunt on the first pitch but fouls it off. He and Anderegg collide, exchange words. Maitland drops another bunt but ump rules it hit him in the box for a foul and strike two. Maitland should be swinging away now.

Down 0-2 in the count, Tim shows bunt but takes a ball outside. Sheeesh. He squares again and drops one down but it's called foul and he's out. ******* STUPID to bunt there with two strikes. STUPID. Hernandez up, Rupp on first, one out.

Hernandez falls behind but manages to work the count full. Hernandez draws a walk to put runners on first and second with one out. Great at-bat for David there. Anderegg is on E with the top of the Texas order to take advantage. Tucker up.

Tucker has his worst at-bat of the weekend. Anderegg needs just three pitches, the final one Tucker just stares at, to punch him out for out No.2. Loy up, Torres on deck.

Loy grounds a chopper to third. Rupp is forced out at third and, once again, Texas swallows its own tongue with RISP. Keep in mind that Clark was on first when Kevin went yard. This team is having a pathetic weekend at the plate with RISP. Shameful.

To the 8th with Army up, 7-6 ...
 
i am envious of all the other bracket leaders scoring at will on decent or better competition.

also looks like the big 12 will be laying a big fat egg by the end of the night if we don't do anything about it.
