Spring practice halted

They should stop them anyway. Thee guys are healthy. Those choosing to work in that business should decide for themselves.
They should offer it to everyone, make note of those who decline, and stop the protocols except testing on Friday before the game of those who didn’t get vaccinated. For the betting market, they need to list all the players that could be out for a game due to exposure or positive test on Friday before the game.

No. I have also had the dreaded rona. Not going to get it anytime soon.
Have a coworker who took the vaccine about 2 months after a moderate case of coronavirus. Had fever and chills after both shots. It was recommended to take the vaccine maybe 4-5 months after infection. I would recommend J&J one and done at that.

I agree with you 99% of the time. I just don't think any of this testing is necessary. It's absurd. We aren't testing for other illnesses.

Stop the madness.

Sorry, MC, but the people making the lines and taking the bets have had people "inside" every major program for well over 50-60 years, keeping them informed of injuries. Those people will insure that the test are done earlier in the week.

It’s a middle of the road approach that you lead with. If folks throw up on that, then you throw down the “stop all testing”. In other words, either accept the reasonable offer or time to blow it up. Win-win

How will Texas unlock the covid vaccine to avoid more cancelled practices?

I read on the softball forum that the athletes are being vaccinated, but they logically started with the spring sports like volleyball, softball, and baseball. Apparently it’s being rolled out now to the Fall sports.

I agree w you very often, MC, but I personally would love it if this^^^^^^ vaccine banter would stop.

Yeah, I know but did you check the thread title and the original post? Have you considered that I am getting tired of the spring practice banter (I kid!)?

Anyway, team is getting vaccinated so not much I can beat anymore.

Oh well....
We can't agree on everything always.
Maybe we should change the title to "Spring Practice...Resumed"

Nice article. Jake Majors' HS film showed a very quick-off-the-ball guy who played really mean. His 2 college starts both were very good. It's also nice to see Ghirmai making progress and pushing for the starting job. I feared he might get lost in the shuffle, but he's apparently really stepped it up. The only time I've seen him (it may have been the last televised Spring Game we had), he needed a lot of work on snapping the ball. Hopefully he has that figured out, as he's a highly athletic big man. If he's currently running 1st team (ahead of Majors), that's a really good sign that we have some quality Centers.

Yeah, he sure did. All I will say is I really don't think it possible he could have regressed from that Spring game performance so I will look forward to seeing how improved he is.

Is there any one breathing who is not excited with Sark?
It may take a year or two but he has a definite vision
And the players seem to have bought into it
Can't wait:coolnana:

Just me maybe but I didn’t feel as though he was ecstatic about the scrimmage. Liked listening to him handle the questions though.

He's honest.
Not blowing any smoke.
At this point with a new team and installing a new system I wouldn't expect him to be ecstatic.
I like his demeanor.
Seems the players are buying in.
I am looking forward to the season.
