You press when you don’t think teams can handle it. I would expect with Rori being a freshman who hasn’t dealt with it a lot that they will try it a decent amount in the beginning. If she does as I suspect and dribble right through it and set teammates up for open jumpers and layups then they’ll get out of it. If we’re turning it over or missing shots I would expect to see it throughout the game.

I hope Vic has another option than "Rori dribbles through". It can't be all on her shoulders.

This is exactly the way it should be! As Vic mentioned in his press conference, these are the best teams in the country. I think we're ready, but I'm nervous too.

As a PG that’s actually almost always the case. Think of why we have so much success on defense…..it starts with Rori giving them hell on the ball. If opposing PG’s were able to handle the pressure/get past Rori we’d spend a ton of time helping and being out of position on D. That’s why I
agree with Vic when he praises how much she does for this team. If she doesn’t turn the ball over at a high rate then we’ll be fine.
