From article it says it is suspected 41 athletes from ISU and U of iowa were involved in gambling.
Would be naive then to think it isn't happening everywhere.

Prayers for the Venables. That they are hopeful means EVERYTHING here

Hope ou wins every game but one
Having lost my wife at the young age of 40 to the aggressive triple neg. breast cancer, this journey will not be an easy one.
My hope is that she can fully recover and be cancer free.

I totally agree, I will be wishing them well in every game but one.
Really sorry to hear BH. Lost my mother to cancer. F Cancer!

6721,

Lest we forget, we had a coach who bet on games. It's not like our Aggie friends didn't warn some of us, a few of whom tried to run him off before he got caught.

BH,

Really sorry for your loss.

I lost my best friend Feb 23, 2013 to triple negative. MD Anderson gave her 90 days to live and she fought it for 3 1/2 years. Brutal disease.

In March, 2015, my daughter (first female born into my family in 61 years) was diagnosed with triple negative. By the Grace of God, she is one of the 4% to survive but she avoided MDA. I tell people that I had more "knee time" in those 2-3 years than all the rest of my life combined. Also the prayer rail in the First Baptist has my knee prints permanently implanted there.

Sorry about some on here concerning cancer and breast cancer. I lost my mom to breast cancer when I was 13. I respond to these posts because I have researched some causes of cancer and learned from a dr in Dallas a great deal of how the body works and how the body repairs itself. My son was ill in high school , not cancer, but significant stomach issues and I had to take him out of school and home school him for 2.5 years. He was diagnosed with different things and different treatment plans and of course drugs by several specialists none of which worked. This dr in Dallas fixed him in no time with no drugs. My son was a great athlete and had to quit sports in high school. Once he got well he was able to go to college and is now a lawyer with one of the top firms in the country so his story is a positive one. I spoke with several of the dr. patients and saw him fixing them with cancers and other diseases and decided I wanted to learn what he knows. He will tell you a high percentage of cancer are caused by dental infections, many root canals. He will say 80% of breast cancer is caused by root canals in molars. I had a root canal and had it removed and yes it was infected.
I realize some won’t buy into this but I like to share what I have learned in hopes it will end up helping someone. People can do their own research and make their own decisions. Basically, what I have learned is the body is constantly repairing itself as long as you are making new cells that work. It’s when you lose that ability is when you get disease. Anyway, I like to pass along my experience and thank God someone recommended this dr to me.

Thanks for the lift snake. Good story to tell. Similarly I am grateful I had the Dr I had to get me thru Covid issues. If you haven’t already found him you might enjoy listening to Dr Zach Bush. Great talks on ‘Natural’ needs of man and how nature heals. I have never heard anyone speak as eloquently on child birth, very emotionally moving.

Thanks nashhorn. I will look him up. The dr I am referring to is dr Jerry tennant. Tennantinstitute.com. His story is amazing. He was sick about 20 years ago and drs had no answer. His research led to his healing and now he helps others heal. Incredibly smart man.

Aren't all schools in SEC ( including Texas and ou) Full share members?

These articles are 6 months old so take with a grain of salt.

per this: https://www.si.com/college/2023/02/10/texas-oklahoma-early-exit-big-12-move-sec-espn-fox

Texas and Oklahoma are expected to receive a share of distribution from the ESPN TV deal in 2024, but the amount is uncertain. They are unlikely to receive the full amount as other SEC programs, a source tells SI. SEC schools expect to eventually pull in more than $70 million in conference distribution by the end of the backloaded agreement.

and here: https://www.si.com/fannation/colleg...-football-realignment-texas-oklahoma-sec-2024

What it costs for Oklahoma and Texas
Part of the cost for the early exit will go to the Fox network to compensate for the network's projected lost revenues from what is the equivalent of seven games that it was supposed to air.

College football insider Brett McMurphy revealed that instead of paying the exit fee, the Big 12 let OU and Texas leave early by forgoing $100 million of revenue distribution. Of that amount, Fox will receive $20 million.

The $80 million left from that amount will be divided by eight remaining Big 12 schools, around $10 million each.

Also, OU and Texas will not get a full share of SEC revenue for their first year in the conference, according to that reporting.
