Another guy we’d really love to see in the portal is Bama safety Caleb Downs, a true freshman last year. Interestingly, Downs and one other DB were specifically mentioned by Saban in his first interview after announcing the retirement. I was very surprised to hear him specifically name players, but he did.

I think the same thing that happened to Colorado is going to happen to Oregon. Their style of play might surprise a few lesser teams in the first couple of games, but once teams have more film on them…they are going down.
