I haven't watched a replay since leaving the Rode Bowl that night. I remember thinking who in their right mind would run a zone blitz against VY. I believed that the DE was the spy because Vince had chewed them up running to the right. Was Selvin supposed to go in the flat as a safety valve? If 90 doesn't go inside, was Selvin open over the middle?

Could be, but having Bush on the sideline for 4th and 2 took away any doubt in the Texas players' minds that White was coming up the middle.
