Interesting predictions from K Ford Ratings
Horns in 4 of the top 10

Leaving Michigan-Ohio State off the list ruins credibility imo, but some of the other matchups should be among the best.

🤔

I buy all the publics but Florida.

Brain drain happening there.

I do know zero about Binghamton, so I'm iffie on that one, too.

Guess I’ll have to check out the latest Farmer’s Almanac to see where aggy is ranked.

Binghamton (pronounced Beem-ing-ton by people in NE PA) is basically where the smart kids in the tristate area who can't get into the east coast private schools end up. So I buy that it's a Public Ivy, but probably not moreso than schools like UCLA.

I'm thinking UF remains on there because of its access to research money. Not so much because of its undergrad population.

USNWR is the standard for Tier 1/ Tier 2 rankings. Rice has been in the teens for decades. Texas was mired in the 40s, but a recent ranking moved it to the mid 30s, although certain departments were ranked Top 10.

SMU moved up as high as 56 a few years ago but was 72 in last ranking I saw. aTm made giant strides to get up to 75, but I have never seen them above SMU.

FWIW, Trinity in San Antonio enjoys a very high ranking among Liberal Arts Schools.

Forbes & WSJ have started trying to steal USNWR's thunder by creating their own lists using different criteria.

Public Ivies have always been Michigan, Berzerkley, UVA, UNC, with UCLA & Texas nibbling at their heels.
