I wish we could see more ability to read and react to defenses like you saw with Vince and Colt. Have not seen that recognition and adjustment in a very long time. Jaxon may be right but its not nearly as obvious as those 2 I mentioned.

Boston's NPR affiliate (WBUR) did a good multi-part story on this kind of statement and how the creation of "moral men" was kind of an amateurism catch-all going back to the late 19th century. The changes today might seem fast, but people 100 years ago could have accurately predicted what was going to happen to college sports once it became profitable.

Yeah I don't mind someone like me calling players greedy. When I was a student in Austin, my 30-hr-week job at Target paid my entire tuition for the semesters I worked there. Not so much any longer.

But for someone like Saban to call players greedy, man... you reap what you sow, I guess.
