Random Season News

Worthy can now be listed as the fastest runner in NFL combine History!
It's not his alone however as he tied the record set by John Ross long ago.
Worthy ran a 4.22 forty in his 2nd attempt.
His first attempt was 4.25.
And I believe A.D
Mitchell was tied for second, so the longhorns finished one and two. How bout that?

OK i give Worthy some props for running a pretty good 40 yard time. My burning question to him though is, "do you think you're man enough to take me in the hundred yard dash?"

What about Baker Mayfield running from the cops that time
He was steppin pretty good there although it might not have been timed

Okay, so the obvious question is, with all this speed and talent, how did we not win the NC?
1. Defensive backfield
2. None of the guys at the combine put the ball on the ground in the Sugar Bowl.
3. In my opinion poor blitz schemes.
4. an opposing qb that had one of his best games, not duplicated a week later.

Chris Johnson had some good years for the titans. The thing that stands out on Worthy’s highlights is the speed down the sidelines that just obliterates any angles the defense may have, and how often he was 3-4 yards past the closest defender on deep routes often having to slow or stop to wait for the ball. I can imagine that Mahomes would love to throw to him and his speed would open the middle of the field for Taylor Swift’s consort even more.
