People who live in the Texas Panhandle rave on and on about the burritos from Allsup's (a convenience store chain that's popular up there and in NM). Never had one myself, so I can't vouch for them. But I adore the breakfast burritos at Buc-ee's.
 
I had a job once as a pilot in a bakery. I picked up bread from one corner and would pile it in another. But it was a crummy job, and the dough wasn’t very good, so I decided to quit and loaf off.

I have seen things in Allsups

I would never recommend eating a anything but canned or processed foods from there.

I have lived in the panhandle and those desperate people wouldnt know guacamole from mayonnaise.

So it's not just the steak you have to choke down.

When i was a freshman i was dumb enough to register for an 8 AM class M W F. Well, I made it to class about 4 times out of 10 before I wised up and dropped the class. I never took an 8 am class in college again!

I also had a VERY bad experience with Vodka as a frosh... haven't touch the stuff since o_O
 
I had poke for lunch today. It was possibly an odd choice given the cooler weather, but there was no line and I enjoyed the way they spiced it up with jalapenos.
 
Had a Dunkin' Donuts ham egg cheese wrap for breakfast this morning before heading over to FW for the game. I think they are really good - you should try one!

Peet’s coffee is good. Here lately I like Americano’s from our espresso maker. I like Dunkin Donuts Coffee too but I am not a heavy roast drinker. So maybe that’s the difference. My least favorite coffee is Starbucks. Those beans are burnt.
 
I like to stay at Hampton Inn so that I can get a Texas-shaped Belgian waffle at the complimentary breakfast bar.

My Salton Belgian waffle maker makes waffles shaped like North Dakota, which is boring.
 
Does anyone think Mr Bean moves are as good as Monty Python movies as far as British Commedy goes? They seem to be Rivals.

Serious question.

When I am in airports, there is usually Starbucks, so that is often the only choice. Otherwise I look for Seattle's Best, Peet's, and Einstein's Bagels isn't bad.
 
Does anyone have a go to BBQ joint? In San Antonio, there isn't much to chose from so I go to New Braunfels to eat at either Blacks or Coopers.

What's good in DFW and Houston?
